Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse
Chapter 113 - 113 - Blending In With The CrowdZou Yue furiously grumbled as he walked out of the room.
"You back so soon," senior Mei looked at him impatiently. She grabbed his arm tightly and pulled him to a corner. "I told you to satisfy them, bitch. What did you do.. it was barely five minutes!"
With his free hand, Yue simply punched her directly in her face. Just a simple punch and that girl rolled away, hitting the side walls of the corridor.
Senior Mei sat up trembling. "you... you...." a single drop of blood hit the ground. Eyes wide, she touched her nose. It felt delicate, sore and painful to touch. "You broke my nose!!!! You fucking bitch! You whore! How dare you! How dare you!!!"
Yue coldly walked closer and pulled her up by her hair. "Who are you to call me a whore? You were acting like a pimp just a minute ago?" he scoffed.
Senior Mei swung her fists around.
But her small hands could not even reach his face.
Yue kept her at an arm's distance. He pointed to her nose. "The next time you try to pimp someone out, you think of that pain. Yes? Plus... your jealousy is sickening."
He threw her down and walked away with a slight smile.
The power he used was similar to swatting a fly, but that alone broke her nose.
But reality hit him hard. The walls were still being crowded with zombies and evening was approaching soon.
If he left right now, he might attract the zombies much easier and he will be helpless in the dark.
"Hey wait a minute," someone shouted behind him.
Yue readily took another dagger out to attack.
"Whoa, wait a minute... I just came to talk," Mao whispered, holding his hands up in surrender.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"I don't want to talk to the likes of you,"
Mao sighed. "Sorry about that. it was uncalled for. We are kicking him out of here as soon as the zombie hoard moves away," he apologetically bowed.
Yue still did not let go of his vigilance.
"it's our mistake that you had a bad experience here. I'm really sorry about that....'
"get to the point. What do you want?" he snapped out.
"it's getting dark. Stay the night,"
"I don't wish to." Zou Yue glared at him and walked away.
That guy ran after him, walking sideways. "You can stay in your room. It's completely free; we don't expect anything of you. you... it's too risky to go out now. Especially for a girl this pretty,"
Yue glared at him, stopping him mid-sentence.
"Shit... that came out so wrong.... just... just don't go out now. You can stay in my room or any room if that matters. Just stay the night and leave afterwards. I can personally escort you out,"
"no need," Yue walked away.
His actual plan was to stay here in the campus. But not in the rooms. That place seems much more risky than he had expected .
Staying in the lower floors, he would get found out by the students paroling the area. The terrace was the only place they did not bother entering.
If he stayed on that terrace he can have a vantage point, but it does come with a con. He did not have an escape route in case someone attacked him. It will he death sentence.
With his mind firmly on this decision, he trod with gusto. A few empty rooms lined up in the corridor. He swiftly entered in one and changed out of his clothes into the beggar outfit he previously used to find Tian.
He tied his hair up in a ponytail and wore a bald cap. A shaggy black haired wig went on top of it. The front of the wig was slightly longer hiding his beautiful brown eyes.
Yue smeared on dark paint all over his skin, masking his pale pink tone. After which he sculpted out a huge scar from his special effect makeup kit and pasted it on his face.
"Seriously... being a girl is too tough in this world,"
He secretly ran through the corridor towards the chapel. He snuck in and stashed the bag inside a piano. He closed the lid firmly and rubbed off any dusty finger prints he left behind.
After which he casually walked out.
Zou Yue went to the canteen area where the rations were distributed. No one looked his way. He was literally invisible....
He sat in the corner of the canteen with his head down. No one bothered him and no one even got near him.
Yue cringed. He decided not to dress up so because he did not want Tian to be disgusted by his appearance.
He thought of many gifts to offer.
"Here have this." a calm and soothing voice interrupted his thoughts.
Yue glanced up.
Juda shoved a small bun into his hands. "you must be hungry. Have this. I already had ramen," she smiled softly.
He peered at her intently.
"are you okay? You feeling sick? I have tablets with me if you want..." she curiously peered at him.
Yue handed her the bread. "Kindness is not for the weak,"
Juda looked startled for a second. Sighing, she suddenly sat down next to him. "you are right old man.... I really am weak... someone told me that my kindness will be exploited. But you know what? I think that being kind will only spread kindness. Don't you think so?" she smiled innocently at him.
Yue peered at her intently. Before, he believed that this girl was kind to him because of some interior motives. But he was made to think otherwise.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThis girl was really kind. Even to a stranger. I mean, who gives food away like that. Either she was extremely stupid or extremely naïve. She was neither.
He handed the bun back to her. "I am paying kindness back with kindness." He whispered softly.
The girl looked at him weirdly. "But aren't you hungry?"
"no just sad..."
"why?"
"I left someone behind and I regret it....."
"there is still time. You can go back to them," she said optimistically.
"hmm I'm leaving tomorrow..." Yue smiled at her.
"don't forget your bag. It's still in the room. I can sneak it out if you want to.."
Yue glanced at her in shock. "How did you...."
"Your shoes, you forgot to change them. But really nice getup though. It's really splendid," she chuckled. "oh about your 'toys' in that bag. I will keep it a secret,' she winked at him playfully.
"Juda, do you want to come with me?" he suddenly propped the question to him.
"where?"
"to my home in G city. It's safe. Unlike here, the settlement is still in military control. My uncle and his son would be the heads. We will be very safe there,"
"I don't know..." she awkwardly dwindled with her thumb. "those things are out there...."
"I'm strong, plus... you have to learn to fight as soon as you can. Juda, this world is going to become harsher than this. If you don't start your training now, you will lag behind. Eventually you will be left behind vulnerable and weak."
She looked unsure of it. "I would have to ask Lui...."
"She is right there. You can decide together." Yue pointed to Lui, who was lining up to get her rations. "Il be leaving tomorrow. Tell me then,"
"Wait here!" Juda ran up to her and pulled her over to a corner. They were deep in their conversation. Lui was frowning, glancing at his way.
