Chapter 74

Briana looked at him mockingly, “It was just to teach her a lesson.”

Seeing Briana finish speaking and turning to leave, Maxim grabbed her hand and coldly said, “If you do anything to harm Kiley, Uncle Chi and Aunt Chi will definitely not let you off.”

“I haven’t done anything to her yet, and you’re already feeling sorry for her?”

Maxim frowned, “Briana, did you have to misinterpret my meaning?!”

He was clearly afraid that Zane and Mallory would do something to her, in her eyes, he became someone who cared for Kiley!

Briana smiled and said, “Whether it’s a misinterpretation or a fact, you know it deep down.”

She shook off his hand and turned around to leave directly.

I saw Briana being taken away by Maxim earlier. He didn’t want to intervene because Briana had told him in the morning not to interfere in her personal matters.

“What?”

“Maxim’s secretary had approached me before, wanting to buy the villa from me. He must have mistakenly thought that the villa was mine.”

Briana frowned, remembering that she had indeed intentionally changed the name of the villa to someone else’s in order to avoid being discovered by others.

But Maxim was able to find out that the property was under Hector’s name, which made her feel somewhat strange.

What they didn’t know was that when Rayan asked someone to check the villa at that time, the person entered the wrong house number, which is why they found the villa registered under Hector’s name.

“I knew it, thank you for telling me about this.”

Briana went back to her room and took a shower before going straight to bed.

She decided to leave early tomorrow morning. The things she encountered at this resort were all frustrating, and she would rather –sleep at home.

In the middle of the night, she heard the sound of the door card swiping on the sensor with a “beep”, and instantly woke up.

She lay in bed without moving, waiting for her eyes to adjust to the darkness. After they did, she saw a figure slowly approaching the side

of the bed.

The moment the dark figure approached the bed, Briana immediately fi*pped over and lunged at the person.

No one expected that Briana was awake, but her b*dy instinctively dodged to the side the moment Briana pounced.

Briana squinted her eyes, seeming to be a fitness enthusiast.

She was planning to continue attacking the opponent when the switch by the bedside was suddenly turned on.

After seeing the person standing diagonally in front of her, Briana’s eyes fiashed with anger. “Maxim, why are you sneaking into my room in the middle of the night like a thief, not sleeping?!”

Maxim looked at her with a faint expression and said, “Briana, don’t you plan on explaining why you are so skilled?”

Briana coldly looked at him, “Didn’t you also hide many things from me? Why should I explain to you?”

“Even if you don’t explain, I will still go and find out myself.”

“I returned the room I had before.”
