Avery felt relieved. "How's business lately?"
"Ever since we launched the new cakes after New Year's, our sales have been going up! We have a lot of repeat customers, so we
are making profits," Shelly said. "Aunty Avery, thank you. If it weren't for you, our business wouldn't run so smoothly."
"Don't thank me. | can't rest until | see you living a great life yourself," Avery said. "By the way, Shelly, | wanted to ask how many
cakes you can make each day. My daughter'spany would like to order cakes for its employees once a week, but | don't know if
you can supply that many cakes."
Shelly was thrilled. "We sell approximately a thousand cakes each day, and since that's way past our usual daily sales, we intend to
hire a few more employees."
"Haha! That's great! Layla'spany will need about five hundred cakes, and you can have those delivered to her every Friday.
Will that be okay?" Avery was worried that Shelly might not accept it and said, "The cakes distributed to employees are a fixed
benefit forpany employees. The bakery we worked with previously has terminated the contract, and since your cafe is
improving the quality of its cakes, Layla is considering signing a contract with you instead. On the other hand, she's worried that

"Thank you to you both. I'm so glad that you are trustingwith this. | think Layla should sign a contract with GD Patisserie,
though. They have more selections available," Shelly said sincerely.
Avery admired how earnest Shelly was and how she was pleasant to talk to.
"We only want cakes from your cafe. If you find it hard to supply the required amount, you will have to work harder. I'm sure that
your cafe will rise to the rank of GD Patisserie in the future."
Avery was determined to help Shelly, so Shelly could only agree.
"Oh, my husband'spany will need cakes as well. Five hundred cakes to be delivered each Wednesday," Avery continued. "Do
you know that Hayden is establishing apany branch here? Hispany will need cakes as well, but since it's still starting off,
they will only need two hundred each week to be delivered on Mondays."
Shelly had onlye to visit Avery and did not expect to end up with three large contracts.
She felt as though she was not here for a visit but for a business meeting.
With these three contracts requesting that she supply thepanies with cakes each week, the cafe would be making a
considerable profit even if they did not have any customers.
"Aunty Avery, let's not sign those contracts just yet. | will deliver the cakes first and will consider signing a contract once they
confirm that they like the cakes." Shelly was slightly worried that she might not bepetent enough to deliver cakes that were
up to Avery's standards.
"No way! You have to sign the contracts today!" Avery smiled gently. "With your current sales, you have already proved yourself
worthy. Don't worry about the rest and hire however many people you need. Don't exhaust yourself."
"Alright."
In the evening, Hayden returned home, and Avery immediately handed him a contract.
"Hayden, on your way to work deliver this contract to Courtney’s Cafe for Shelly to sign tomorrow," Avery said with a smile. "I've
offered her a contract to supply ourpanies with cakes from her cafe weekly. The cakes will be delivered to the office every
Monday. We were supposed to sign the contracts today, but Shelly said that she has never gotten such contracts before and didn't
have an official format for this sort of thing, so | asked your dad's lawyer to help with it."
"You asked Dad's lawyer to draft contracts like this?" Hayden asked in disbelief.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"What's wrong with that?" Avery wanted to reach out to the lawyer in Tate Industries, but after the misunderstanding about the
baby, Avery was too embarrassed to do so.
"You don't need a contract for this. All you need is a receipt that states the price and frequency of the deliveries." Hayden stared at
Avery's signature on the contract, his brows twitching. "Why are you signing on my behalf?"
"The cakes are for yourpany, so of course, they would be reserved under your name!" Avery said. "Do you not want to deliver
the contract? Are you scared of seeing Shelly? Are you in love with her and trying to avoid seeing her?"
