Chapter 347
“And?” Kevan patiently waited for him to continue.
“I think — Lana is cheating on me.” Lucas pressed his lips together lightly as a hint of melancholy
flickered through his eyes.
Kevan chortled. “What has Lana cheating on you got to do with me? Are you perhaps hoping that I
would help you gain some kind of Justice?”
“No!” Lucas denied it at once. “The point is not that she cheated on me, but who she’s cheated on me
with” He lifted his head and secretly peeked at Kevan. When his gaze met Kevan’s sharp one, he
looked down again. “The one she’s cheating on me with seems to be Ruby Cole’s husband.”
Kevan’s gaze became cold. “Why are you telling me this?
“I saw the news.” Lucas began to stammer, “About you and Ruby I thought

on his face, but his voice was dangerously trigid.
Lucas was so scared that he jerked once. His voice was smaller than ever. “N-No His head was
lowered further.
“Il I really had cheated with Ruby, what is your purpose in telling me this?” Kevan asked again.
“Shouldn’t I be happy that Lana and Cody got together?”
With his reminder, Lucas finally got his logic all sorted out. He had not really thought too deeply into it.
Maybe this matter delivered quite a huge blow to him that it left his brain in a muddled state for the
most part. He only knew that Lana was cheating on him with Ruby’s husband, and Ruby seemed to
have that kind of relationship with Kevan, which was why instinctually thought that he should let Kevan
know about this.
“My apologies!” Lucas said with guilt. “It’s my fault for wasting your valuable time–”
Kevan did not say that he accepted nor refused his apology, he just asked. “Do you have anything else
you’d like to say?”
Lucas shook his head hard. “No! I’m finished.”
“Then leave.” Kevan said. “Today never happened, and you will not tell anyone that you came here.”
Watching Lucas leave hurriedly with a look of anxiety on his face. Larissa’s suspicions grew. After
Kevan dismissed the driver, she could not help but ask him, “What did Lucas find you for?”
“Nothing.” Kevan sat next to her, his long legs comfortably stacked on the coffee table as he loosened
his tie before turning to ask her,” You went to my mom’s today?”
Larissa was stunned before she retorted, “How did you know? Did Mom call you?”
Kevan chortled, “I do still recognize my mom’s driver.” Besides, Larissa had changed out of her usual
casual wear and was dressed a little formally, so she definitely went out.
Larissa finally reacted. She nodded.

have been just as simple as getting all of that nonsense back, can it?”
Larissa had just been about to use this as an excuse to ludge things over with him. Sensing her
thoughts, Kevan’s smile grew bigger event as the mockery deepened too
If it’s just for this, my mom would deliver it in person to you. She would have not made someone like
you with reduced mobility to specially go over.” He still knew Violet well to some degree. “You’d better
tell me the truth, or I will go to my mom’s and ask her.” He threatened her in a low voice.
Larissa gave up trying to think of excuses. was not as it today’s events were something that she could
not say anyway.
*My mom and Lana went to your mom’s to create trouble. Because of the news about you and Ruby,
my mom wanted us to get divorced.*
