Right as Caspian and the two women were about to leave, the loud rumbling noise of tanks could be

heard from outside the house.

It was a sound that Caspian was all too familiar with, but he didn’t know why there would be tanks

arriving at Stewart Residence.

The Stewarts were surprised by the sound. They wondered if some big shot was about to appear at the

banquet.

The crowd looked at the entrance in anticipation.

A bodyguard then opened the door for someone.

The man was none other than Logan Massey, the husband of Sherry and the father of Caspian.

The housekeepers were scared out of their minds when they recognized that the head of the Masseys

of Dhord City had arrived.

They never expected someone of his caliber to show up for Marilyn’s birthday banquet.

Logan was a man who often appeared on the news on television.

The grand scene had shocked everyone so much that they had no idea what to do about his arrival.

Everyone was shocked by the news.

Caspian wanted to know the reason why Logan came here.

Willow added, “Don’t worry, Mom. It was only a matter of time anyway.”

Marilyn snapped back to her senses and shouted, “Go and greet Mr. Massey immediately!”

She then picked up her crutch and started making her way out of the house.

The rest of the Stewarts followed closely behind her.

Marilyn glared at Caspian and Willow and complained, “Why are you still here? Get lost already!”

Sherry didn’t want to see Logan at all and decided to hide in a corner.

Caspian and Willow followed after Sherry.

Meanwhile, Logan was also nervous as he stepped into Stewart Residence.

He let two of his bodyguards enter the house with the gifts he had prepared as he followed behind

them.

Marilyn and the rest of her family soon arrived to greet him.

Marilyn was all smiles. “Mr. Massey! You truly bless us with your presence!”

Logan smiled and replied, “I heard it’s your birthday today, Mrs. Stewart Senior. So I came to wish you

a happy birthday.”

“Oh, Mr. Massey, I’m already overjoyed to have you visit us. There’s no need to prepare such lavish

gifts!”

Marilyn took a glance and realized that Logan’s gift was extraordinary.

Logan sent his bodyguard to bring the gift inside. “It’s just a little gift from me. Please take it.”

Marilyn was still confused as to why Logan would show up at her birthday. banquet. “You’re too

Logan actually didn’t care about the birthday banquet at all.

His only purpose here was to find and meet Caspian and Sherry.

He had been looking for the two of them everywhere since he entered the house.

Unfortunately, he never managed to locate Sherry after scanning through the place.
