Chapter 496 A Woman’s Sixth Sense

Macy had always been the one to drive Sylvia around, but this time, she was pretending to be the wife

of the God of War. She even ordered Sylvia to drive her.

The armored soldiers could not hold back from laughing when they saw Macy giving orders to

Sylvia.

“Hurry up and get in the car. I’ll send both of you back,” Macy said to Willow and Zoey.

Both Willow and Zoey followed without hesitation.

Sylvia then drove the car to Riverside Villa.

The armored battalion also got into a car of their own and escorted Sylvia’s car.

“Are you really the God of War’s wife?” Willow asked again when she was inside the car.

Something did not feel right, but she could not put it into words.

“Why? Don’t I look like her?” Macy asked. She had already immersed herself in the role of the

God of War’s wife.

In fact, when she first met Caspian, she felt that she and Caspian were a match made in heaven.

“I really am the God of War’s wife even though my position may not be as high as Caspian’s. Moreover,

he made many contributions during wars. So, even though he’s only a general officer, his position is

higher than that of an ordinary officer.

“It’s also true that I’m his subordinate.” Macy made up a random reason.

If they kept questioning her, she would be exposed.

Sylvia smirked. She was in the driver’s seat as she listened to Macy with her blatant lies.

In less than half an hour, Sylvia had arrived at Riverside Villa.

When Willow and Zoey were about to enter the villa, Macy blurted, “Stop! Don’t enter the villa!

Both of them were momentarily stunned. They looked at Macy.

Even though she was the God of War’s wife, she had no authority to interfere with their plans.

“Something’s not right about the villa. Look at the lawn. It looks like someone walked on it,” Macy said

with her brows knitted together.

Sylvia and the armored battalion instantly became vigilant after hearing what Macy said.

They took their weapons out, getting themselves ready for any potential ambush.

Macy had been fighting in South Aridlands. She had good insight as well. She would not have said

such things lightly.



“The villa seems fine. What could be wrong?” Willow was momentarily stunned. She felt slightly

uneasy. She did not see anything unusual about the lawn as well.

Having just experienced an assassination, everywhere felt unsafe to her.

Sylvia could not afford to be careless either. She suddenly thought of the fact that she had brought

everyone with her when they left the villa. Nobody had stayed behind to do patrolling.

There was a possibility that their enemy might have sneaked in during that period!

“Protect Willow and retreat!” Sylvia ordered.

Macy escorted Willow and Zoey into the car.

Sylvia started the car again and began to reverse.

The armored battalion did the same as well.

When they had retreated about a hundred meters away, Sylvia asked Macy, “Tell going on?” She also

They raised their weapons and pointed them at Macy. They opened fire immediately.



Macy was right! There were secret agents lying in ambush in the villa!

Fortunately, Macy and the armored soldiers came prepared. They were constantly in a vigilant

mode.

They reacted quickly and were able to fight back instantly.

Gunshots could be heard throughout the entire villa.

Instantly, there was a hail of gunfire and bullets. The entire villa was turned into a battlefield.

Macy and the armored soldiers had gone through rigorous training. They were able to find a makeshift

bunker and organized a counter–attack immediately. Their opponent was no match. for them at all.

Nevertheless, they were still outnumbered. Many men clad in black appeared on the second floor. They

could clearly see everything that was happening on the first floor.

Macy and the armored soldiers were completely exposed and vulnerable to the enemies on the second

floor. This was a very dangerous situation for them. If they were not careful, they might get shot.

Willow, Sylvia, and the others heard the gunshots coming from the villa. They became anxious

Sylvia acknowledged Macy’s skills, but their opponents had come well–prepared. Judging from the

worried.

“All of you here, I need you to protect the God of War’s wife.”

“Got it!” They nodded.

Then, Sylvia and 20 armored soldiers rushed inside.

Willow was taken aback when she heard Sylvia mention ‘the God of War’s wife‘.”

Zoey and Willow looked at each other.

“Willow, maybe you’re the God of War’s wife! I had the feeling that Macy was being odd!” Zoey

suddenly exclaimed.

“What? How’s that possible?” Willow asked, visibly surprised.

How could Caspian be the God of War?

“Who else if it isn’t you? It’s definitely not me!” Zoey said.

“Caspian told me that he’s a general officer, not the God of War,” Willow asked.



Zoey began to ponder. Suddenly, she remembered something that had happened before.

She said in a surprised tone, “That’s right! Back then when we came back from Dragon’s Hill, I think he

told us that he was the Diatoran God of War! But both of us said that he was just bluffing. Eventually,

he changed his claim and said that he was a general officer!”
