“Why are you looking for Adrien? What can he possibly do? He’s probably sleeping in some motel.”

“He’s Star’s father, and Star needs

Abel was speechless for a moment. “… I can help him too, Emma.”

“Star needs a bone marrow transplant! You… You can’t help him!” Emmeline was close to sobbing.

“Mm.” Abel’s expression turned serious after ending the call.

So the cute little kid has a blood disorder, and that’s why Emmeline insisted on searching for his

biological father!

Just when Abel was about to leave the house, Alana came in, dressed in a pink gown and wearing

elaborate makeup, as though she was preparing for a special occasion.
