Chapter 24 “Didn’t you know? Damien’s mother arranged for him to go on a blind date with a woman. They met

yesterday and got along really well!” Beth’s tone was rather gloating. She no longer had a chance with

Damien. After Karen found out the truth in the hospital that day, she couldn’t care less about Beth.

Beth was indignant, so she continued finding out information about the Radbury family. Ava sneered.

She hadn’t even signed the divorce agreement, and the members of the Radbury family were already in

a rush to send another woman into Damien’s embrace. They couldn’t even wait another day. It seemed

that the text message she saw yesterday was from that woman. “Ava, that woman is the eldest daughter

of the Newton family, Selina Newton. Not even I can compare to her when it comes to looks and family

background. An illegitimate daughter like you is nothing compared to her,” Beth said with a smile. “Selina

Newton,” Ava thought. “Miss Newton is a lady from a respectable family. If you have a tiny bit of common

sense left, you should quickly divorce Damien voluntarily so that you wouldn’t embarrass yourself and

our family!” Beth’s words were extremely sarcastic, and her laughter was like a slap on Ava’s face. Ava

Selina Newton. This name sounded a little familiar. Ava thought about it for a long time and finally

remembered that she had met Selina once during Radbury Group’s anniversary banquet. Selina was a

chance against Selina Newton?”

At Radbury family’s manor. Damien had come to see his father. However, his father wasn’t around.

Instead, Selina was sitting alone in the living room. “Uncle and auntie went out because they had

something urgent to attend to. They asked me to wait here for the time being,” Selina said.

They had officially met yesterday. At first, Damien thought that his father had arranged for him to discuss

business deals with members of the Newton family. When he saw that the other party was a young

woman, he immediately understood what was going on. As Radbury Group and the Newton family

That night, Damien did not go home.

Even though Ava was used to Damien not coming home, tonight, the loneliness was especially hard to

endure.

Ava sat by the window and tried to read a book. Even after around an hour, she couldn’t even finish

reading one page. She chuckled self-deprecatingly. Wasn’t it good that he wasn’t home?

If he were to come home, he would be back with a divorce agreement for her to sign.

The doorbell rang. Ava sat up almost immediately and rushed over to the door. She opened the door

before the servants could.

However, the person outside the door wasn’t Damien.

“Excuse me, may I know if Damien Radbury stays here?” A breathtakingly beautiful woman stood

the thing. Damien left his cell phone in my car. I can’t contact him, so I have no choice but to send it to

his place.”

Ava felt as though she had been struck by lightning.

Nanny? Cell phone?

It turned out that Damien and Selina’s relationship had progressed to the point that they were sitting in

each other’s car. But which part of her looked like a nanny? Ava glanced down at her clothes. Although

As the two women shook hands, Damien parked his car in front of the door.

Damien’s expression froze when he saw that the two women were standing together the moment he got

out of the car.

Selina was about to say something when Ava walked over to Damien and took his arm. “I was just joking

with Miss Nagel. We are at the Radbury family’s residence, but she didn’t realize that I’m your wife. Isn’t

it funny?”
