Quinley and the others were deeply anxious as they watched Jared approach Norwal City’s army beyond the wall.

Hastily, Cloud reassured the women, “No need to worry about Mr. Chance, Ms. Warwick, Ms. Tall. Nothing will

try.”

Lucian was trembling in fury. At that moment, he was under Jared’s control.

Gritting his teeth, Lucian barked, “Mind your behavior, brat! If I lose my son, I can have another one. However, if

you kill my son, your life will be forfeited, too. Remember, you only. have one life.”
