Chapter 4236 Apprehending Them Later The spirit ship swiftly sailed forward, while Kai and his group were heading toward it.
When they were only a few miles away, Kai and his companions halted.
"Demonic Cultivators? There are actually Demonic Cultivators on this spirit ship!" Wyatt sensed the other party's presence.
"These Demonic Cultivators, they didn't even bother to hide themselves. Could it be that these guys are the pirates we've been talking about?" Hartwin was quite perplexed, wondering why these Demonic Cultivators didn't conceal their aura.
It was important to understand that in the Ethereal Realm, Demonic Cultivators were considered low in status. Therefore, many of them hid their identities and concealed their aura.
Yet now, these Demonic Cultivators had actually cover without any attempt to conceal themselves. "Should we inform the others and make our escape first?" Upon realizing that they were Demonic Cultivators, Wyatt couldn't help but feel a surge of anxiety.

Kai had met his fair share of Demonic Cultivators, and contrary to popular belief, they weren't all malevolent or harmful.
It was merely that the Ethereal Realm had placed a filter over the demonic cultivators. On Demonia Mountain, there were quite a few Demonic Cultivation sects, and they were all surviving just the same.
The Demonic Cultivators lived just like any human cultivators. There was no difference at all.
Given that these Demonic Cultivators cover without any attempt to conceal themselves, there probably wouldn't be any trouble.
Even if they were to run away now, there was essentially no escape. Kai decided to take a gamble. They wagered that the Demonic Cultivators on the spirit ship wouldn't harm them.
Swiftly, the spirit ship arrived in front of Kai and his companions. Upon seeing this, Arnold called out loudly, "Fellow cultivators ahead, why are you lingering here? We're dangerously close to the stormy sea area. You should leave as quickly as possible!" Surprisingly, Arnold didn't invite Kai and his group to board the ship. Instead, he urged them to leave promptly. It was clear he was trying to leave Kai's group at large to apprehend them later.
However, it worked. Upon hearing Arnold say this, both Wyatt and Hartwin breathed a slight sigh of relief. "My friend," we happened to pass by this area when our spirit ship was damaged, and thus, we were unable to leave." Wyatt spoke truthfully.
"In that case, I kindly invite you all to continue our conversation on the boat!" Only then did Arnold invite Kai and his companions to board the ship.
After Kai and his companions had safely landed on the ship, Wyatt introduced himself, "I'm Wyatt Chance, the president of the Central Alchemist Guild. May I know your identity?" Upon hearing this, Arnold couldn't help but chuckle ruefully. "You must have noticed by now, we are all Demonic Cultivators. Currently, the Ethereal Realm is extremely hostile toward us, with calls for our defeat echoing everywhere. Regrettably, we, a group of people, could only manage to live in this secluded part of the vast ocean. We don't belong to any particular faction or sect. Our sole purpose is merely to survive. Since I am the strongest one here, they all refer toas Mr. Lund..." Arnold openly admitted his identity, and it didn't seem like he was lying.
After all, Arnold, with his full-faced beard, appeared to be honest and trustworthy, which made his words highly credible.
Upon hearing Arnold's words, both Wyatt and Hartwin started to feel somewhat embarrassed.
They once harbored a deep-seated hatred for the Demonic Cultivators too, when everyone was rallying against them.

However, upon reflection, it seemed like the Demonic Cultivators hadn't really caused them any harm. This hatred must have been a legacy from the tof the great war between celestials and demons. After all, it had been thousands of years, and not all Demonic Cultivators were necessarily bad.
"Mr. Lund, have you all been living on this ship all these years?" Hartwin asked incredulously.
"It's not quite like that. Hundreds of kilometers from here, there's a small island where we all used to live."
"Whenever the sea's calm we'd head out to sea to hunt demon beasts This time, a storm had whipped up in me, as the storm-prone sea area, and we cover to scavenge for treasures," Arnold explained.
"Indeed, there's a small island nearby.
m I wonder, could it serve as a temporary rest stop for us? We still have quite a few friends who are left hanging in mid-air, with no place to land," Wyatt asked. At that point, Wyatt had cto trust Arnold.
