Chapter 798 The car finally drove into a forested area.
The scenery is beautiful, and you can see the city and river in the distance.
Even the bridges over the rivers and the boats on the river can be seen clearly.
Franklin parked the car at the entrance of the forest and then took two hunting rifles off the car.
Sylvia frowned, "Are we going hunting?" The man kissed her forehead and said, "You're so smart. This is a natural hunting ground where we can hunt and | guarantee you'll have a great time." He knows that Sylvia is a good shooter.
"Are we inside this forest?" Sylvia followed behind him, the mountain road was not easy to walk on, and the forest was very damp with some lingering dew.
Fortunately, she wore sneakers today, which made walking a little easier. If she had worn leather shoes... or high heels, she would have suffered.
Franklin held her hand tightly and they walked forward together.
His fingers occasionally caressed her hand, neither too light nor too heavy, creating a delightful sensation as he touched her.
"After walking for so long, how come we haven't seen any prey?" Sylvia squinted her eyes. The air in this forest was fresh and could be considered a natural oxygen bar.
Tall trees towered all around them, and the sunlight filtered through the leaves, dappling their bodies with a hazy glow.
As the sun rises, the moisture in the forest becomes hot and humid.
Waves of heat rise up from the ground, making it a bit uncomfortable.
Sylvia was wearing a pair of cargo pants with the cuffs tied, and a military green shirt on her upper body. Her thick hair was tied up high in a ponytail, and she was carrying a hunting rifle in her hands.

Sylvia, dressed neatly, exudes a resolute beauty from head to toe.
Franklin slung the hunting rifle over his shoulder and pressed her against the tree trunk behind him, holding her close in his arms as he lowered his head to kiss her.
Sylvia was taken aback for a moment, but quickly realized what was happening. The man didn't let go of her for a while before finally saying, "Honey, you look good in anything you wear." Franklin murmured softly, his eyes flickering with a hint of mischief. "You're even prettier than wearing a skirt, | really want to..." Sylvia gritted her teeth and gave him a twist around the waist. This man always had those lecherous thoughts on his mind at all times.
The man was wearing a pair of military boots, with camo pants hugging his long legs, making him look extremely handsome.
He held her hand and they continued walking forward, but after a while Sylvia started to feel tired.
"Let's take a break," she said, wiping the sweat from her forehead. "Franklin, are you crazy? | have to go hunting and you make me walk this far? Don't ask me to do something so exhausting next time." Sylvia was in top physical shape for a woman, but compared to this man she still fell short.
Franklin had an excellent physique and could walk for long periods without feeling tired.
He crouched down in front of Sylvia. "Come on up, I'll carry you." Sylvia looked at his broad back and felt her heart skip a beat.
No one had ever carried her before except for her master. The only time he carried her was when she was injured during training on the mountain. It was freezing cold that day on the mountain, but he carried her all the way down with his back full of warmth.
It reminded Sylvia of how much security she used to feel around him - like he was her father or something.
After finishing teaching everything he knew to Sylvia, her master left without any trace or explanation as to where he went off too afterwards.
"What are you waiting for? Come up!" Franklin urged after waiting for some time without hearing any response from Sylvia.
She hesitated briefly before climbing onto his back as they continued walking forward together at great speed with Franklin's long legs carrying them both effortlessly along their path.
Meanwhile in TS Group Tower - infamous red-light district building towering 66 floors high - inside its highest office sat a man around forty years old sipping slowly on red wine while staring blankly ahead with eyes full of bloodthirsty indifference.
"All the information you requested is here," said his assistant carefully placing documents onto his desk before backing away cautiously out of sight again.
The man glanced over at him coldly then began flipping through pages while sipping wine until reaching one page that made him narrow his eyes slightly with rage; tossing aside his glass which shattered into pieces upon impact against floorboards below.
The red liquid spilled all over the floor.
He gritted his teeth and shredded the documents in his hand into pieces, throwing them fiercely into the air.
"Sylvia... you've been so naughty... marrying another man for four years. It seems like | gave you too much freedom." In a dense forest, tall trees grew together, covering the sky and shaking their leaves with green light. It was like a green sea of emerald color that dazzled one's eyes and made their heart itch. As if an artist had spilled all of the intense green oil paint on top of these hills.
The fresh and tender greenery spread out around them as if they were going to dissolve entirely within it. The sunlight fell on Sylvia's ponytail, giving it a shiny luster that seemed as though her beautiful face would melt under its warmth.
Franklin put her down from his back and took out some food and water from his backpack to replenish their energy. Sylvia ate some beef jerky and dried fish while taking a few sips of water.
They had been walking in this forest for two hours now. Although it was summer, they sprayed insect repellent before getting off the car so no snakes or bugs dared to come near them. Sylvia felt at ease walking here.
At this moment, they were standing on a hillside when Franklin whispered softly. "Look back." She raised an eyebrow subconsciously, turned around only to find out that they had already walked very far away - at least three hills behind them! It was really far away! Franklin set up his gun. "There are more prey here; let's wait for a while." Sylvia looked around but didn't see any prey nearby when suddenly Franklin gently kissed her lips. "The scenery is beautiful here; why don't we..." Sylvia gritted her teeth. "Get lost! I'm not going to have sex with you in the wild!" As she spoke, she saw a wild chicken appear in front of her sight then immediately shot it down with one bullet.
Franklin smiled happily knowing how skilled she was.
With confident strides he picked up that wild chicken which wasn't completely dead yet — blood flowing from where he shot — making him look handsome beyond measure: "My wife is amazing; just one bullet can take down any wild chicken." There was faint smell of blood in the air as Sylvia glanced at him skeptically.
After awhile Franklin hit another rabbit followed by more preys appearing before their eyes gradually increasing in number.
Sylvia wasn't stupid. The reason they had come all this way was obvious - Franklin knew there was prey here, and the animals looked plump and well-fed, so...
"Is this your private hunting ground?" They had caught two rabbits, a deer, and a chicken.
Franklin kissed her on the lips in response. "You're very smart.” Sylvia rolled her eyes. How rich did a man have to be to have his own private hunting ground in Vienna's forest? It couldn't have been cheap.

"We'll take the deer back for Jenna and them to eat,” Sylvia said as she pointed at it. "We'll eat the rabbit and chicken." Franklin smirked before picking her up in his arms. "Always thinking of others at a time like this? Looks like our alone time isn't colorful enough...” Sylvia glared at him. "Can you be serious for once? Go clean those animals - I'm starving!" This man never took anything seriously.
After cleaning their catch by a nearby river with clear water that flowed gently, Franklin started making fire while Sylvia watched from afar.
She could see clearly how skilled he was with his hands; it wasn't his first time doing something like this.
His broad back exuded strength which made Sylvia feel somewhat dazed.
When she lived with her master on top of mountains before, he would always hunt for food then cook it over an open flame.
At that time when she was still young, her master would always stay by her side.
She used to live in rural areas with her younger sister and mother until both passed away... and then Otto brought her back into town.
Her master had instructed not to tell Otto about what he taught regarding martial arts techniques; luckily she hadn't told anyone yet...
"What's wrong? Is my handsome face too distracting?" Franklin teased as he walked over carrying their cleaned rabbit and chicken before starting up the fire again.
Sylvia's heart skipped a beat upon hearing him speak; what was wrong with herself today? It had been so long since she thought about her master but now memories of him kept flooding back...
"I'll help you barbecue," Sylvia offered after taking out her phone from pocket.
After roasting the wild chicken, Franklin tore off a leg and handed it to her. "Try it," he said.
The meat of the wild chicken was succulent and delicious. Sylvia took a bite and exclaimed, "It's so flavorful!" Suddenly, out of nowhere...
Whoosh! An arrow shot through the air, causing Franklin to panic. "Watch out!" he shouted.
Abandoning the rabbit he was cooking, Franklin rushed towards Sylvia to protect her.
