Chapter 1129 Confronting Wanda

Wanda’s face blanched. It was like those words had scrubbed all color from her cheeks.

Stefania frowned. Turning to Kieran, she asked, “What do you mean by this?”

However, Kieran only smiled in reply. He stared at Wanda with a mocking, spiteful look in

his eyes. When Remus saw this, his face sank like a pebble in the water.

He knew all too well that Kieran wouldn’t do something like this without reason. The only

explanation was that Wanda was caught up in these things.

Stefania and her husband were also no idiots. They were reaching the same conclusion as

Remus, and they turned to Wanda in astonishment.

Remus was smart. He had already felt that something was not right when Kieran called

them over, so everything made sense after he heard what Kieran had to say. “Wanda, you

Wanda felt her body freeze as she opened her mouth to explain.

Yet, Kieran interrupted before she got a word in. “Miss Muller comes from a prestigious

family. Having manners and integrity should be as natural to her as breathing. Don’t you

know that my brother already has someone? How dare you try and take something that

belongs to someone else!”

He did not hold back in exposing what she did.

Wanda was ashamed, but mostly she was afraid.

Clenching her fists, she forced herself to be silent.

Kieran was talking about things that she could never admit to.

“Master Kieran, I apologize if I’ve offended you, but please stop spreading these false

accusations. You’re destroying decades of goodwill between both families.”

She decided to dodge all of Kieran’s accusations and questions and chose to misinterpret

his words instead.

Kieran saw through her flimsy ploy and snorted. “I’m glad to see Miss Muller still has her

wits. It’s a shame that she wastes her intelligence on such shameful ends.”

Wanda’s face fell when she heard the sarcasm simmering in Kieran’s retort.

She was about to craft a reply when Horace cut her off.

“Not a word from you! Let Kieran finish speaking!” Glancing at both Nicholas and Kieran,

he said, “Since Kieran has called us here today, he must have some goal in mind. Finish

your piece. I want to hear what’s going on.”

Kieran was relieved when Horace was so amenable. “You’re right, Mr. Muller. I’ve made

sufficient preparations before calling you both here. The last thing I want is to tear apart

the relationship between both families, but…”

He paused deliberately before he continued, “What Miss Muller did has brought shame

onto her entire family.”

Wanda’s face tensed while her heart burned with turmoil when she met his hateful gaze.

Ignoring her panic, Kieran explained, “Miss Muller, you didn’t hesitate to get someone to

kidnap me, so my brother had no choice but to come and look for me. However, you’ve

underestimated the Sawyers. You didn’t expect that I’d be rescued after a day or the fact

that my brother didn’t come and save me as you wanted. Your plan failed, so you made

another one. A plan that was even more vicious and cruel!

You learned that my sister-in-law and her grandmother don’t get along, so you had people

stalking her. Once they managed to take a video of my sister-in-law arguing with her

grandmother, you had it posted online to smear her name. You even hired trolls to curse

the child in my sister-in-law’s belly!”

Kieran inched closer toward Wanda. “When you did all these things, did you ever stop to

think what might happen if something happened to my sister-in-law?”

Faced with his direct accusation, she didn’t know what to do.

Looking at the hapless woman, he sneered. “Oh, I seemed to have misspoken. I bet you’re

hoping that something does happen to her, aren’t you?”

“No, that’s not it!”
