Looking at how resolute his daughter was, Rorion knew that she now hated Hathaway with every fiber of

her being. Naturally, he understood how Susan felt, as he thought that Hathaway was in the wrong in

handling the situation as well.

However, he knew that Hathaway had understood where she had done wrong and had even gone as far

as expelling Tessa from her orchestra, so he couldn’t help but defend Hathaway here. “Don’t say that.

Your mother still loves you.”

“Hah, she does love me. She loves to help others pick on me, then claims that it is all for my own good,”
