"Grandma..." Walking to the bed, Frederick held Mrs. Clements' wrinkled hand and muttered in a trembling voice, "Why didn't you informthat you were sick?" If anything happened to her, he would never feel at ease for the rest of his life! "It's not like I am going to die soon anyway. If you cback in a hurry and got yourself into an accident, what would I do then? I know that you are filial, but isn't Alicia here with me?" She then continued with a much softer tone, "She said that you were on a business trip. Hence, I didn't allow her to inform you!" "Grandma, don't say such ominous things in the future! You will definitely live a long life!" Frederick was brought up by his grandmother since he was a child. Therefore, she was extremely important to him. Seeing that he was a little upset, Mrs. Clements laughed.

"Alright, let's stop talking about this! Let's leave the hospital and head home. What is everyone doing here? Aren't you going to helpprepare the discharge formalities?" The two of them were enjoying each other's company. On the other end, Hallie was gritting her teeth as her expression turned livid.

After getting discharged from the hospital, all of them had an early family dinner together as they wanted to let Mrs. Clements have an early rest. After the meal, everyone headed back home. Back at Landrum Garden, Alicia and Frederick entered their house one after another. After Alicia closed the door, her back was instantly pressed against the door the moment she turned around.

"Hubby?" As soon as she spoke, her slightly-parted lips were completely devoured by Frederick. The passionate kiss was like a volcano that had just erupted out of the blue. It drowned her instantly... She didn't even have a chance to speak for quite a while.

Their breathing sounds got louder and were intertwined with each other's in the quiet room. In an instant, their pounding heartbeats resonated in the room.

"What's wrong with him? Why is he being so desirous? He is usually calm and indifferent!" While thoughts were exploding in her mind, Frederick lowered his head to place a kiss on the tip of her nose and on the rosy lips of hers. All of a sudden, he hugged her waist tightly with force. "Hubby... my lips are about to fall off!" Alicia tilted her head a little, trying to avoid him as her breathing was like a bumpy car ride.

She did not notice that at this moment, the way Frederick looked at her was completely different from the way he used to look at her.

He kissed her neck tenderly and spoke with an extremely seductive voice, "I want you!" At the stime, the rough palm of his had begun to trace along her body! Alicia was startled. Then, she hurriedly held the corner of her clothes and shook her head rapidly. "Hubby!" During this period of time, she was as busy as a bee. She had stayed in the hospital for a few days, thus she hadn't taken a proper bath since then. How eager was he that he didn't even bother about her hygiene? They hadn't seen each other for a long tand she was craving for him too. However, subconsciously, she didn't want to do it. She was afraid that she would leave him a bad impression and ruin his affection towards her. Frederick hadn't forgotten about her injury, but at this instant, he just couldn't control his impulse. As he held her tightly, he wished to please her very badly.

"I'll do it gently, and we will stop if you feel uncomfortable!" Frederick carried her and they kissed all the way to the bathroom. It was as gentle as the spring breeze and yet their desire almost mess the whole bathroom up.

Alicia's whole mind was in a mess when she was being carried out from the bathroom.

Frederick lowered his head to place a gentle kiss on her forehead while he was still hugging her. "Do you feel alright?" She didn't know if Frederick was asking about her wound or the feeling of them doing it. Thus, she lowered her reddened face into his embrace.

"Yes!" Although she was too embarrassed to say anything, she was elated. He was really a good lover as even though he was inevitably domineering; he would still care about her feelings.

Frederick stroked her hair gently and uttered, "Don't stay silent if it's hurting your wound! I'm feeling a little... out of control!" After all, he had endured it for too long. It was difficult for him to restrain his desire. Moreover, everything that had happened earlier that day was beyond his expectation. Hence, he had lost it completely. At this moment, Frederick's mood was still surging. It was indescribably complicated! Only then did he realize that what he said made Alicia blush to the max. He thought, "Oh, my, she is not that innocent anymore." Biting her finger to suppress the emotions in her heart, Alicia tried to change the topic. "Hubby, you did not believe me, did you?" In the past, he wouldn't allow anyone else to say a word about her. However, in the hospital earlier that day, he didn't speak for her in front of them! As soon as she calmed herself down, Alicia suddenly realized that they had not been in contact for a long time. Plus, he had been away for the longest period of ton this business trip. Suddenly, she felt a little upset. Hence, she moved her body away instinctively and sat up to get sfresh air.

Her emotions could be read easily. He stood up and held her in his arms from the back.

"I only believe in the truth!" he told her.

At the hospital, although he didn't protect her, he didn't blher either. He was indeed upset when he saw what was happening in the hospital. But subconsciously, he tried to endure it. If it were someone else, he might have already exploded in anger. Frederick spoke in a serious tone while playing with her hair.

"I can dote on you, spoil you, and indulge you. But sometimes, there are boundaries that you can't cross."

He wouldn't mind it if she called him when she missed him. However, if she kept calling him im because shen missed him and it affected his work, he would mind it. If she harmed his grandmother just because she wanted her attention, he definitely couldn't bear it! However, he did not expect that it was all a misunderstanding. She was a kind woman after all! She didn't say a word nor complained after suffering so many grievances. He didn't call her and yet she still tried her best to take care of his grandmother. The shock alone was not enough to describe Frederick's state of mind at this moment.

For him, nothing was more important than his grandmother. Nothing could move his heart other than his grandmother's words.

He always felt that Alicia was a woman who loved money more than her life, and she would use all kinds of cunning tricks to get her hands on them. He didn't expect her to be so kindhearted that she would take care of his grandmother for him willingly when he wasn't around. If his father hadn't called him to tell him about his grandmother's illness, Grandma probably would have already been discharged from the hospital when he gets back from his business trip. He wouldn't have known about it at all.

Obviously, someone deliberately wanted him to witness the scene in the hospital earlier that day! However, no one had expected that there would be such a tic backfire instead! X
