Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Alicia was thinking about the sthing. She did not trust Frederick in the beginning, as she did not expect that their relationship would last this long. Her feelings were complicated. "What did you say?" Frederick was caught off guard when Alicia suddenly mentioned that she had a brother.

Alicia looked up at him and pursed her lips as she nodded.

There were only a handful of people who knew about her brother's existence! They used to live in a mansion back in the days and they rarely saw their neighbours. The only people who knew were their schoolmates. However, they were not from a rich family and have already parted ways with them. Who would remember these trivial things? "Tell me! Whatever you can remember or whatever you are allowed to tell me, you should just letknow at once!" He assumed that there were no secrets between the them. For the first time, Frederick felt that she was a mystery. Although he had her in his arms, there were still things that he did not know about her. Alicia then told her about her family situation. She told him about her brother's affairs in the recent years.

"Actually, it has been a long tsince I last saw my brother...." If her brother had been there for the past three years, she definitely would not have suffered so much.

He gently stroked her cheeks and wrapped his arm tightly around her.

"You don't need to feel pressured at all! If I really wanted to marry someone from a well-matched family, I think the only option is either a seventy year old woman of a widow. If that was the case, I might as wett be a monk! Ally, you have been through a lot of hardship in the past, I'm sure you know that money and fortune are all transient. Perhaps one day in the future, I will lose everything and would have to depend on my wife to support me. "I think it's best for you sleep on your side so that it would not affect your wound!" Frederick suggested.

As soon as he got into bed, Alicia shifted herself into his arms. Ever since they got home, she felt more at ease.

"Goodnight, my darling!" "Goodnight!" Frederick spooned Alicia to sleep. They were exhausted from the day's events. Within minutes, both of them fell into a deep slumber.

The next morning, Frederick woke up early as he had to head to the office to deal with the company's affairs. After getting up and making a simple breakfast, Alicia went to her parents' house to make sure that

everything was in order before heading to work. As soon as she stepped into the office, she felt like she had dropped a bomb. She headed to the HR department to cancel her leave. As she walked through the office, people were glaring at her. en.s
