Chapter 561 Chapter 561 Looking out of the window, Alicia asked in confusion, "What's the matter, Nicholas? What happened?" Why did he take a turn? Nicholas was about to tell her about Frederick's current whereabouts, but he was genuinely afraid that it would cause more harm than good. Instead, he swallowed his words back.

He replied, "It's merely a small issue! A couple of b*stards are causing a ruckus at Heaven Star Clubhouse. My people are dealing with it right now, so it's better not to go there for the tbeing! In the meantime, I'll drive you around..." He never expected Frederick to be so persistent and efficient! Ever since Nicholas discovered that he had lured her out at the casino, he had secretly sent people to keep an eye on his movements. He knew that Frederick would persist in his investigation, so Nicholas deliberately tried to figure out Frederick's method of approach. He certainly wasn't expecting it to be so quick and direct... Simple yet aggressive! Judging from his abrupt and violent act, Frederick must've been utterly concerned about Alicia.

If he really was about to make a scene at Heaven Star Clubhouse, then everyone in Casterwich City would know about it by the next day. Nicholas thought about it and immediately drove to a remote suburban location.

In the car, Alicia was simply distracted by her mobile phone. She wasn't paying attention to her surroundings at all. She believed that she was safe so long as she remained by her brother's side.

On the other side, Frederick's surveillance signal indicated that Alicia was heading towards Heaven Star Clubhouse, so he left right away with his subordinates.

Stars shone brightly and the city was shrouded by the night sky as he stared outside the window. His mind was completely blank while he subconsciously caressed the ring on his hand.

Nothing made him happier than the fact that his Ally was still alive. However, the thought of her being someone else's woman constantly troubled his heart.

Just as he was lost in his thoughts, Chet's voice suddenly rang out. "Frederick, Miss Blanchard seems to be... leaving!" "What?!" Wasn't she headed towards Heaven Star Clubhouse? His eyes quickly drifted back to his computer screen as he marked the route that she had taken instead. Apparently, she had taken a right turn as soon as she approached Heaven Star Clubhouse. "D*mn it!" It was already so late, so where would they go? Seeing that they were about to arrive at Heaven Star Clubhouse, Chet helplessly asked, "What do we do now..." They were so close to getting Alicia back. Unfortunately, the surveillance signal was very vague; it was hard to determine her specific location with its small pinpointing range! "Follow them!" Frederick commanded while he closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. He was absolutely determined to get Alicia back that night.

He couldn't bear with it any longer knowing that she was by Nicholas' side! After their entire chase, a few black limousines finally cto a stop at the foot of a secluded hill. At this moment, there were two intimate figures who sat next to each other while they enjoyed the view of the entire city under the moonlight.

As soon as he got down from the car, Chet took a peek at his surroundings while he immediately held his breath and raised his hand to halt the men behind him.

Right as Frederick looked up, his body instantly froze and he stood still at the sposition for a very long time.

It felt like a century had passed by before Frederick finally said, "I'll go up alone, the rest of you will remain here on standby!" On the hilltop, they were seated beside each other on top of a rock.

Nicholas' coat was draped over Alicia's body while they babbled along about their childhood recollections. Thinking about. everything that happened to their family over the past years, she was glad that her brother beca better person; she felt at peace at that very moment.

"It's so beautiful! I've always thought that the view of Bayton City's sky was the most breath-taking one, but it seems like the view of Casterwich City's night sky is equally magnificent! All the shine of the thousand lights feels so heart-warming..." She turned around and gazed at Nicholas while she held his arm. She then leaned on his shoulder as she spoke.

"I miss Mom and Dad so much! I still remember our happy moments back then when we sat like this after school to watch the sunset, and I kept asking you random questions..." "It would be nice if our lives could be this peaceful in the days to come!" The intimacy between the two was the first thing Frederick saw when he set foot on the mountain. His heart crumbled into pieces in an instant, and there wasn't a single speck of dust left.

In the blink of an eye, Frederick was instantly driven up the wall. He and his subordinates immediately rushed over to their side. "Nicholas!" Nicholas was well- prepared the whole time; he had kept his guard up and was well-aware of the entire situation. Right when Frederick rushed towards him, he quickly took a side step while he turned around simultaneously. The place where he stood was merely a small mound of earth that was slightly elevated. In a split second, Frederick threw a punch towards Nicholas as he tried to evade the incoming blow but he seemingly stumbled. Alicia, who was pushed aside by Nicholas, suddenly gasped.

"Argh..." By the tAlicia cto her senses, the two of them were already engaged in an intense fight.

"Why on Earth are you guys fighting?! Stop it! Frederick, are you out of your mind?" "Stop fighting!"

At a corner, Alicia was anxiously jumping up and down and she couldn't get in between them at all. On the other hand, several punches were exchanged between Frederick and Nicholas. The both of them took a few steps back and waited for the perfect opportunity to strike again, but she instantly stopped them as she placed her hands against them. "What are the both of you doing?! Stop it this instance!" Nicholas immediately grabbed her arm and pulled her behind him. "Misty, stay out of this!" After wiping the corner of his lips, he stared at Frederick provocatively. "Mr. Clements, what is the meaning of this? I'm certain that we've never had any problems before." Noticing the intimacy between the both of them and the trustworthy stare that Alicia gave to Nicholas, Frederick was absolutely furious by the sight of it. He completely lost all his sense of reasoning at that moment.

"Nicholas, what did you do to her?! She's obviously Alicia; she's my wife! Give her back now!" Frederick roared as he threw

another punch towards him. At that moment, it was too late for Nicholas to evade the incoming blow as Alicia had stood tood beside him. In the blink of an eye, Frederick's fist collided with Nicholas' cheek. His head was tilted to one side while blood oozed from the corner of his mouth. Before he could even react to it, Alicia anxiously rushed forward and shoved Frederick away.

"I told you he didn't; he did absolutely nothing to me! Why did you hit him? Just leave us alone." Only after a long struggle and swild arguments did they separate from each other at a distance. Alicia turned around and ran towards Nicholas, "Are you alright?"

She extended her hand to wipe the blood off the corner of Nicholas' mouth and she also examined his wounds.

At that very moment, debilitation was written all over his face. Terrified that he might hurt her, Frederick merely stood still when Alicia pushed him. All his strength seemed to be drained in that instant while she shoved him away. At this moment, blood seeped out of his mouth and his eyes were dull. He glanced over at Alicia who had all her attention locked on Nicholas.

The woman whom Frederick loved the most didn't know who he was at all; she even shoved him aside for another man! Memories of a similar situation suddenly flashed across his mind. Frederick remembered the twhere he and Jeremy fell off their horses at the smoment, yet she rushed over to Jeremy...
