She wasn't a tad bit interested at all! In a huff, Victoria subconsciously squeezed the bunny's little head. Although Trevor had noticed her dissatisfied behavior, he still pulled her away forcefully.

The further they strayed from the ballroom, the quieter their surrounding became. Right then, Victoria couldn't help but frowned and gave him a sidelong glance. Where the hell was he bringing her? The person that she was supposed to meet must be very dignified for Trevor to bring her all the way out there! The tip of her tongue was filled with various kinds of doubt. As she pondered about it, Victoria simply swallowed back her words. Frankly, she wasn't in the mood to talk to him at all! Forget about it! It was pointless for her to ask Trevor since she would be meeting that person anyway.

Pursing her lips, a trace of nervousness arose from the bottom of Victoria's heart.

Trevor led Victoria into a room as her mind drifted away throughout the entire walk. All of a sudden, she cto her senses and found herself staring at an empty room. At that moment, she immediately asked, "Where is your friend? Who am I supposed to meet?" Followed by the faint sound of the door closing, Victoria was suddenly hugged by the man behind her, "I just want to talk to you!" In the blink of an eye, Victoria's heart immediately sank. Only then did she realize that she had been deceived by him. Even though her eyes were blazing with anger, it was only a matter of seconds before it was instantly replaced by a sense of indifference.

"Well... Go ahead, I'm listening!" What on earth did Trevor have in mind? Why did he have to bring her this far just to talk to her? Victoria averted her eyes towards the stuffed bunny in her hands as she was entertaining herself with it. She told herself, "Hurry up and get it over with! I can endure this! I'll leave as soon as he's done speaking!" Noticing that she wasn't paying attention at all, Trevor immediately snatched the doll from her hands and threw it away.

"What are you doing?" A boiling fury swelled inside Victoria as she was enraged. She shoved him aside and walked forward to pick up the doll. Just as she was about to bend down, her wrist was instantly pulled back. Therefore, she had no choice but to stand back up. In that instant, Victoria's eyes were blazing with anger once again.

"What the hell are you doing? Letgo! Letgo..." Victoria pounded Trevor continuously with her fist, yet she was still unable to escape his grasp. She subconsciously wanted to kick him, but the evening dress that she had worn was tight and it restricted her movements. Instead, she quickly grabbed the hem of the dress. However, before she could even lift it, Trevor had already hooked his arms around her waist.

"You're mad at me, aren't you?" She was absolutely fine before the wedding ceremony. Despite that, Victoria was a completely different person at that very moment. No matter how dense he was, Trevor clearly knew the reason behind her ill- temper. He never expected Victoria to be this furious just because of a phone call! All of a sudden, there was an obvious pause in her actions. Victoria then turned and raised her head, "I'm not mad at you. I just want to retrieve my doll, that's all!" Trevor had once again held her back as she struggled to pick the doll up. She just couldn't seem to close the distance between the stuffed bunny and herself.

At that moment, Victoria was about to go off the deep end. She immediately stood up and stomped her feet angrily. "Are you done yet? I'm not in the mood to quarrel with you! Let go of me!" The heavy-hearted Victoria pushed and pounded him ceaselessly. In the end, she still couldn't confront her problems. A complication like this one that arose before the wedding even ended was an indication of a disastrous marriage! Victoria would be lying if she told herself that she didn't hate Trevor! After all, how could she be unbothered if her acting wasn't even perfected? Moreover, she wasn't a goddess, and it was genuinely impossible for her to stay calm and pretend that nothing had happened! She already tried her best to cooperate with him, so why was Trevor still provoking her? As he hooked his arm around her delicate body, Trevor then placed his other hand on the back of her head. In a flash, he lowered his head and planted a passionate kiss on Victoria's lips.

Victoria's antipathy towards him was arosed right as she felt the warmth of his lips. Her punches and kicks that grew fiercer had confirmed his suspicions. Trevor swiftly trapped her body under his while his domineering kiss becmore intense than before...

As he pressed her against the wall, the deep kiss gradually becoverwhelming. Due to the fact that he was almost out of breath, Trevor had no other choice but to pull himself, back. His sight becblurry and his breathing was erratic. On the other hand, Victoria's entire face and ears were flushed. Besides that, her body began to tremble as well. Even her fists that were previously pounding him had seemingly lost their strengths completely. However, there was a glimpse of light in her teary eyes that was as sharp as a knife.

While he gently caressed the corner of her lips, Trevor suddenly said, "Selena..." It felt as if he had paused for an eternity before the remaining words left his mouth, "She's my cousin!" His words settled heavily in the air, and it felt like they were pressing on his chest. From his tone and the hint of pain between his eyebrows, Victoria could sense that something was different.

She was able to figure out the truth without even asking Trevor. If Selena was just an ordinary cousin, then why did he behave that way? Victoria thought to herself.

In that instant, she could tell how difficult it was for him to complete his sentence. Regardless, she still did not sympathize him at all. No matter who it was, there still wasn't any reason for Victoria to suffer the consequences! Knowing the answer to her question made her feel relieved. Furthermore, it wasn't in Victoria's habit to rub salt on people's wounds.

Victoria gradually pushed him aside and dusted herself before she slowly walked over to a corner. Squatting down, she picked up the stuffed bunny that lied on the ground and patted it gently.

"If that's what you were trying to tell me, I get it now! If there is nothing else, then I'll be on my way!" At that moment, her attitude remained nonchalant. Facing her reflection in the glass, Victoria ruffled her hair and adjusted the hem of her dress before she turned around and walked towards the door. Trevor extended his hand and held her back, "Vicky..."
