Two hours were just that precious to Kirk. He didn’t want to waste a single moment of it.

“No, I just want to repay you as Caroline’s husband.”

Adrian’s expression turned gloomy. “Kirk, if you really want to thank me, don’t use money to do that!

“Just like you, I don’t want Caroline to marry Eddy. The reason why I helped her is because I love her. I

want her to be happy.”

Kirk narrowed his eyes as well.

Realizing that they might fight, Sean quickly stood between them.

“Enough of this. Caroline will wake up soon. If you guys keep fighting, it won’t be good if she sees Kirk. It

may worsen her condition again.”
