Chapter 908 Sally was Captain York's mother. Given the Captain's recent accident, Nina, as his beloved woman, was still regarded as his wife, despite officially being his ex-wife.
Now, Sally demanded to speak with Nina on the phone, and Felix, unable to refuse, handed the phone to her. "Nina! Why weren't you the one who died?" This was the first thing Sally said when Nina took the phone. Although Nina was not standing in front of Sally, she could vividly imagine Sally's ferocious face.
"It was an accident, Sally. You don't need to blme for everything. Besides, you knew his identity better than I did," Nina replied coolly.

Nash had died at the hands of the Yaren tribe, with Nina by his side. Miranda had died too, all because of Nina. If Nina had not intervened, Nash and Miranda would have been married long ago.
A mocking smile crossed Nina's lips. "Whatever you do, I'll face it head-on." Unfazed, she hung up the phone. Felix, standing beside her, was stunned by their hostile exchange. He had expected sheartfelt conversation between mother in law and daughter in law but was taken aback by the intense animosity.
Felix felt regret and recalled Nash's stern and cold face, thinking that Nash would have surely reprimanded him for this. "Miss Nina, I'm sorry. I didn't understand the situation before giving you the phone," Felix apologized, head down like a child who had done something wrong. Despite being one of Nash's soldiers, he held Nina in high regard, as Nash had instructed. Whether she returned to Birkham or stayed with the Yaren tribe, Felix's duty was to ensure her safety.
Nina smiled and said, "It's fine. Go about your business. I'll call if I need anything. Besides, I'm in the camp." She was at the heart of the camp and knew she was safe in her current situation.
"Yes, ma'am," Felix responded.
With that, Nina left the tent. She took a short walk and soon saw Scott setting up a tent not far away.
Scott, now tanned, had an air of determination about him. Wearing camouflage, Scott had fully integrated into the military life. But with Scarlett having regained her memory, why hadn't Scott remembered anything yet? Taking a deep breath, Nina strode over to Scott. When he noticed her, he greeted her first.

"Once you're fully recovered, you should return to Birkham. It's too dangerous here, Scott said hoarsely but with a firm resolve in his eyes. Nina chuckled. "I have a plan."
Tomorrow, she would take a gun, bring Scarlett and a few others, and search along the riverbank. She trusted her instincts that Nash was still alive. "It's good you have a plan. I'll continue setting up the tent," Scott replied.
"Don't you want to let your family know you're safe? I can get theim contact information for you," Nina suggested, looking at Scott.
