The bald man walked away with the child. Rodney picked up the ball and handed it to Mel. Mel looked

“Because he did something wrong and felt guilty.”

“Oh.” Mel didn’t fully understand. “Uncle, you must be good at fighting, right? Can you teach me?”

“You can protect your mother and grandfather from being bullied just because you’re good at fighting!”
