When I was a younger lad, I remember asking my dad why he always let my mom have so much power and influence over him because he'd

always do as she said, especially when it came to such serious decisions and matters

For example, when my dad was considering potentially arranging marriages for both myself and my siblings, my mom instantly said no and

he never fought her on it or brought it up again which I'm grateful for and I always will be but still, it always confused me

I hate to sound like a misogynistic asshole because I'm far from being one but in our world men are usually the heads of the family and the

I never truly understood what he meant by this but now I do because if it wasn't for my wife who is one of my biggest weaknesses in this

world and someone who I would literally give it all up for then I probably would've hunted Luca down by now and beat his ass until he

looked like Barney the freaking dinosaur

It pains me so much to see my wife hurt and in pain and I want nothing more than to avenge her but if she tells me to leave Luca alone

then Twill but if he tries anything like this again then all bets are off and I will kill him

After heading back upstairs, I first went to my room to put on a t-shirt before going to wake up the kids

1 pulled out my phone from my pyjama pocket and opened up the text message that I had received from Klayton, it was a picture message

which made me smile a megawatt smile

I quickly sent a text back to my cousin-in-law before focusing back on my daughter who was rubbing her eyes

She said as she tried to get comfy again and I knew exactly what she was doing because Lacey does the same thing
