Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough-Novel
Chapter 150: Cure for the Plague?Chapter 150: Cure for the Plague?
Standing in front of one of the many bookshelves with books related to blacksmithing with a thick book in hand, Xuan Hao felt a bit helpless in regard to what he could use in his future attempt in convincing a Master Blacksmith to forge something for him.
"Looks like I will have to look for a time to go back to the Burning Mountain Range and find some rare materials…" Thinking about it, Xuan Hao did not really know about any places outside of the Burning Mountain Range that had anything that would interest a Master Blacksmith.
As for using his cultivation and strength to owe the Master Blacksmith a favor? There was no chance… The amount of Domain Lords requesting the assistance of a Master Blacksmith was endless, why would the Master Blacksmith care about a Nascent Soul Realm Expert promising to help him out in the future…
"Hm?" Glancing over the words in the book in his hands, Xuan Hao was about to put it away when something written on the last few pages caught his attention.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe pages described a few of the most sought-after materials by blacksmith and among them, Xuan Hao noticed quite a few that were rumoured to be found in the Burning Mountain Range.
The problem with this, was the fact that most of the materials in question could only be found in the deeper regions of the Burning Mountain Range where demon beast above the Nascent Soul Realm resided!
"I guess I will really have to visit the Burning Mountain Range again, at the very least I'm stronger than the last time, so I should be able to go a bit deeper… Ah, I still have to go and check up on Qing Yi and Chu Yang." Shaking his head at the thought of already going back to the Burning Mountain Range again, Xuan Hao remembered both his disciples that were most likely waiting for him back at his pavilion.
"Maybe I could even get them to go find the materials for me in the future…" Imagining how both his disciples could go out and gather whatever materials he required in the future, Xuan Hao felt a bit depressed.
Why could his disciples not just find a random opportunity that allowed them to reach the Nascent Soul Realm or something?! That way he could just spend his time lazing around in the sect without doing much of anything… Not that he was doing much in first place…
"Now that I think about it… Have I not been a little too busy recently?" Realizing this, Xuan Hao remembered how chaotic the current situation was.
Sky Empire's sect alliance, demonic sect, plague and Plague God church, Azure Sky Kingdom and Heavenly Sky Kingdom fighting each other…
Maybe he should ask the Sect Master if they could move out of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom in the future and become a neutral sect… Staying seemed to be quite a troublesome thing… And it was not like neutral sects not related to any kingdom or empire did not exist on the Ewaria Continent.
It was just the fact that most of them were either strong enough to compete with a weaker empire or being a demonic sect that did not have a place inside any empire or kingdom.
The Black Rose Sect would most likely end up like that in the future as well, as they would be forced to move their sect's location in the future when the Sky Empire found out a foreign force was trying to take over what was essentially its territory.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAt this point, Xuan Hao felt that only by either merging with the Spring Flower Sect to become a new stronger sect or moving out of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom to live a more peaceful life as a neutral sect was an option.
The reason Xuan Hao joined the Flying Sword Sect in the first place was because it was one of the more laidback sects with close to no enemies, but this peaceful life in the Flying Sword Sect was getting destroyed due to all the things currently happening inside the Heavenly Sky Kingdom and the Sky Empire as a whole.
"Elder Xuan!" Just as Xuan Hao was lamenting about his peaceful life cultivating and doing nothing all day being interrupted by all the different things happening around him, an elderly voice called out from the entrance to the library as an elder with the robe normally used by members of the Alchemy Hall ran over.
"What is it, did something happen?"
"Yes! Elder Wan Qiu manged to successfully create a potion that can combat the plague! She asked me to look for the Sect Master and ask for what to do now that we have a cure for the plague, but as he is in secluded cultivation, I instead came to find Elder Xuan!" Not missing a beat, the elder excitedly began explaining.
"That's great! But why did you find me instead of the Vice Sect Master? Is she not the second in charge when the Sect Master is not here…?" Not understanding the elder's reason for approaching him before Zu Fei, Xuan Hao asked with a curious look on his face.
"Ah… Well… She just finished a fight with the sect master's guest and need to rest after fighting? for such a long period of time…" Fidgeting awkwardly around the place upon hearing Xuan Hao's question, the elder tried his best to answer without being disrespectful towards Zu Fei.
"Haha, indeed! Let's get going then!" Not pursing the matter anymore, Xuan Hao decided to just follow the elder to the Alchemy Hall and find out what kind of cure Elder Wan Qiu had come up with after getting the notebook of Lord Kubera to assist in the research of a cure.
With this, Xuan Hao and the elder made their way over to the Alchemy Hall, it looked like Qing Yi and Chu Yang would have to wait a little longer until he got back to his pavilion.
