The white field Siegfried had summoned looked like a spell no matter which angle they looked at it from. How did it make sense that hundreds of Adventurers suddenly stopped in their tracks as if time had stopped?

One of the Genesis Guild members approached their unmoving comrade, but…

“Ack! That’s cold!” He screamed and hurriedly pulled back his hand, “Hey! I think they’re froz—Kuheok!”

He gasped and collapsed to the ground, and he started shivering as if he was having a seizure.

“I-I can’t b-breath… Uwaa…!”

The guild member started clawing his neck as he gasped for breath, and he looked like a pneumonia patient in agony. Soon, he died amidst the agonizing pain.

“W-What the hell is that?!”

“Is it poison?”

“Can somebody explain what’s going on?!”

Whatever was happening right now completely defied logic. The Genesis Guild members were bewildered, and it was the same for the caster himself, Siegfried.

“Am I a magician…?” he wondered.

It was quite ironic how he was surprised when the whole thing was his doing, but it was understandable as this was the first time he was using the skill he had obtained after absorbing the Ice God’s Essence he had acquired from the Lexus Kingdom.

[Absolute Zero]

[A debuff field that reduces the internal temperature of all enemies within it to absolute zero.]

[The chances of inflicting Frozen on targets are higher the lower their water attribute resistance.]

[Enemies with high water attribute resistance are slowed instead.]

Status Ailment: Frozen was one of the most powerful crowd control skills in the game, and Absolute Zero was absolutely capable of inflicting Frozen on those unfortunate enough to be within its range.

Strings of messages popped up in front of the eyes of the Genesis Guild members.

[Alert: Your character’s resistance is low! Your character has been frozen!]

The debuff field had frozen the lungs of the Adventurer, who had perished just now, making it impossible for him to breathe, resulting in his demise. The Adventurer hadn't done anything other than enter the debuff field, and he died from asphyxiation.

“Wow… Isn’t this overpowered?” Siegfried muttered after witnessing Absolute Zero's might. He clicked his tongue and muttered, “Tsk… Does this freeze time as well?”

The Genesis Guild members were so perfectly frozen that others could easily misunderstand the situation as Siegfried freezing time.

“If they’re frozen… What happens if I give them a light tap?” Siegfried wondered as he switched Horse Fly back to a hammer and tapped one of the frozen Genesis Guild members with it.

Crrwaa!

The frozen Genesis Guild member shattered into innumerable ice fragments.

It was a clean death without a single speck of blood spilling on the ground.

“…!”

The Genesis Guild members were shocked.

One of them pointed at Siegfried and shouted, “He’s cheating! That guy’s cheating!”

Siegfried was overpowered, and it was to the point that people would think of him as a cheater. Siegfried was already rumored to be overpowered, thanks to his debuff skills on top of his ability to deal massive Physical Damage.

However, his insane crowd control skill was where people had drawn the line and called him a cheater instead of overpowered.

“Well, I guess I'm cheating here…” Siegfried muttered with a grin as he mercilessly swung his hammer and smashed the Genesis Guild members into pieces.

He obtained a huge amount of experience points, but it was just a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of experience points he needed to level up. Siegfried smashed all of the frozen Genesis Guild members to pieces and looked at Chae Hyung-Seok.

'Heh.' Siegfried grinned before shouting, “Hey! Chae Hyung-Seok! I’m coming!”

“T-That son of a bitch…!”

“Wait for me, buddy!”

The distance between Siegfried and Chae Hyung-Seok quickly narrowed.

Chae Hyung-Seok gnashed his teeth until his molars started cracking, which bestowed upon him incredible pain, but he didn't care about that at the moment.

Revenge?

It was already out of the question.

Chae Hyung-Seok could have stood his ground and won against the Mandate of Heaven Guild thanks to his overpowered buffs, but winning was out of the question when Siegfried was here.

Siegfried’s debuff skills had not only nullified Chae Hyung-Seok’s buffs but weakened his enemies as well. Chae Hyung-Seok knew that his chances of winning the battle would be less than one percent as long as Siegfried was on the battlefield.

Many people regarded Chae Hyung-Seok as a god on a huge battlefield, but if he was a god, then Siegfried was a god slayer.

“Protect our guild master!”

The Genesis Guild knew about it, too, so they tried their best to protect Chae Hyung-Seok from Siegfried. Unfortunately, they couldn't do anything as Siegfried’s multi-colored weapon transformed numerous times as he struck down one Genesis Guild member after another.

Siegfried was quickly narrowing the distance between him and Chae Hyung-Seok.

There were now only two Genesis Guild members standing between Siegfried and Chae Hyung-Seok.

“Han Tae-Sung… You son of a bitch… You son of a whore!” Chae Hyung-Seok raged as he shed a tear. He felt angry and wronged.

The bastard he had treated as a mere insect had foiled his plans, had scammed him and was now forcing him to quit the game. As if that was not enough, the insect was now on the verge of defeating him in a large-scale battle, which was his forte.

The anger and resentment Chae Hyung-Seok harbored toward Siegfried turned into sorrow. He was losing left and right against him, and he couldn't even muster the will to be angry at him anymore.

Perhaps that was why…

Tears started streaming down Chae Hyung-Seok's face. Tears finally dripped down the face of the man, which had been making those weaker than him cry tears of blood.

However, Siegfried was not one to miss this opportunity.

“Huh?” Chae Hyung-Seok muttered and tilted his head in confusion.

“I’m talking about that debuff around your body.”

“Debuff around my body…?”

“W-What the hell is this…?” Chae Hyung-Seok muttered in disbelief after seeing a red aura enveloping him.

Ding!

A message popped up in front of his eyes.

[Alert: Your Guild Headquarters has been conquered!]

The message was no different than the death sentence for Chae Hyung-Seok.

Fifteen minutes ago…

“Sir Seung-Gu! We have received word from our kingdom!”

Seung-Gu was waiting near the Genesis Guild’s headquarters when a signalman rushed and made the report.

“What did they say?”

“The moths have crossed our borders and are entering Utopia!”

“Really? Okay!” Seung-Gu exclaimed after receiving the report.

He looked back at the army he was fielding composed of three hundred Head Crusher Guild members and two hundred Proatine Kingdom Marines. On top of that, there were five hundred golems of various shapes and sizes as well.

“Hey, you piece of stone! Let’s go! Open your chest!” Seung-Gu exclaimed.

“Piece of stone? Silence!” Reventon snapped back.

“What did you say? Are you going to keep ignoring your master’s commands?!”

“I don’t recall serving a baldy as my master.”

“What? Baldy? Hey! My hair’s going to grow back!”

“Once a baldy, always a baldy.”

“Damn it! This piece of stone!”

“Just be grateful I’m letting you on even though you don’t have the right to board me. But remember, I’m only letting you board. I’m not giving you permission to control me. You don’t have the right to control me.”

Seung-Gu and Reventon still couldn't quite get along. It was understandable that Seung-Gu had no authority over Reventon, as he wasn't the one who had captured the latter; he gained ownership of Reventon through pure coincidence.

‘Damn it… Just wait and see, you piece of stone…!’ Seung-Gu swore to power level once all this was over so that he would soon gain control over Reventon.

Whiiiing… Clack!

Reventon closed his chest.

“Let’s go! Attack!” Seung-Gu shouted.

The Head Crusher Guild, Proatine Marines, and the army of golems rushed to the Genesis Guild’s headquarters at the command.

The Genesis Guild’s headquarters was conquered… in an instant. The entire Genesis Guild was at the fake Proatine Kingdom’s capital, Utopia, so conquering the Guild Headquarters was a piece of cake with the army Seung-Gu was commanding.

Fifteen minutes later…

“Hmm… Is this their flag?” Seung-Gu muttered after getting his hands on the flag of the Genesis Guild.

Flash!

The flag unleashed a burst of bright light, and a string of messages popped up in front of Seung-Gu’s eyes.

[Alert: Congratulations!]

[Alert: You have conquered the headquarters and flag of the Genesis Guild!]

[Alert: You have won the war!]

[Alert: The Genesis Guild members will be afflicted with the debuff Loser’s Shame.]

This was the nail in the coffin.

Siegfried conquered the Genesis Guild’s headquarters to prevent Chae Hyung-Seok from disbanding his guild, effectively handing the death sentence to every single one of their members.

Getting afflicted with the Loser’s Shame debuff meant that their headquarters and flags had already been conquered by the enemy. It meant the death of the Genesis Guild, which was once one of the top ten guilds on the continent.

“Ah…” Chae Hyung-Seok muttered.

“Ack!”

“What the fuck?!”

“Aaack!”

The Genesis Guild members fell one by one. There was no way they could withstand the Head Crusher Guild members' attacks after getting afflicted by Loser’s Shame on top of Siegfried’s debuffs.

The Genesis Guild member protecting Chae Hyung-Seok rushed at Siegfried, but he died after one swing of Horse Fly.

“Huh? Why did he die so easily?” Siegfried wondered.

Nobody from the Genesis Guild could stop him now. The Loser’s Shame debuff was a terrifying debuff famous for making it impossible for the losers to go against the victors.

They could no longer defeat Siegfried.

“Good to see you, Hyung-Seok,” Siegfried said as he stood right in front of him.

“Han… Tae-Sung…”

“Why are you crying? You’re making my heart ache, you know?”

There was no need to point out that Siegfried was obviously lying, and it was evidenced by the massive grin on his face.

“It feels nostalgic, right?”

“…”

“I was in your shoes at the time,” Siegfried said as he reminisced about the events from two years ago.
