Davis traversed to the Southern Divide with Stella.

They didn't travel in a flying boat but directly arrived there through the spatial tunnels Stella connected with each step. Traveling with her was practically instantaneous.

However, Davis recognized that they didn't travel past the Dragon-Phoenix Alliance. They were headed slightly northwest of it, which meant it was closer in distance from their starting point.

Finally, they arrived above a town.

Davis took out the map and confirmed this was the location, but the Void Class Calamity was nowhere to be found. Since the people below were acting fine without any fear or panic whatsoever, he guessed that they had no idea about this lifeform.

Descending with Stella, he first did some investigation.

When he turned to look at Stella, he saw she was practically hiding a grin as though waiting to ask where the lifeform was, causing him to laugh inwardly.

Knowing this lass who thought herself to be smart, he knew she had investigated long back and traced the lifeform and was only waiting for him. The fact that she didn't hunt by herself meant that she should've deemed that she wouldn't be able to defeat that space-attributed lifeform or she was simply sympathetic and waited for him.

After all, what was a few weeks to her who lived for tens and thousands of years?

"Hey~"

Davis ruffled Stella's purple hair, causing her to fume as though she didn't like to be treated like a child. She pushed away his hand and puffed her cheeks, looking at him with a gaze full of warning.

He raised his hands in surrender at this cute, big-breasted tree fairy and continued to search without requiring her help.

Within two hours, he found a lead that headed towards the woods of the nearby forest, but Stella also didn't complain. Instead, she ogled at the town's features and marketplace, forcing Davis to buy many things she fancied.

Davis was more than happy to buy her things, especially since wealth was of no issue to him at the moment. He wished his wives would do that, but they didn't ask him of anything for the most part, not that he blamed them since he rarely had time to go out on a date with them.

Nonetheless, they left the town and searched in the woods.

The search didn't even last two seconds as Davis instantly found what he was looking for with a wave of soul sense sweeping the woods.

Of course, he would have taken more time if he just used his soul sense, but since he knew where to search, his soul sense focused on that area and managed to find what he had been looking for. That's why it took two seconds instead of one, as a spherical sweep would be less effective than a conical sweep.

Davis and Stella appeared before what appeared to be none other than an entrance to a mini realm. It was hidden, not using formations, but a natural phenomenon.

"Hehe~"

Stella giggled as she smiled at him as though appearing proud of him.

"Not bad. You were just like one day faster than me~"

"…"

Davis decided not to tell her that it was too long and that she couldn't even compare to his searching speed, but he gave the benefit of the age as she was still a child in mind.

"Woah, one day. That's awesome for a tree…"

Davis gave Stella a thumbs up and walked through the hidden spatial vortex, causing Stella to happily follow him. They both stumbled into the mini realm where the Void Class Calamity was supposedly hiding.

"…"

Davis stepped in and only saw ruined buildings in what appeared to be an outpost town that guarded the entrance. He guessed that there had been battles, but the buildings looked so old and decayed that he felt that it had been a long time since this outpost had been destroyed.

He also looked around and saw that the skies were wobbling ever so lightly like the mini realm was unstable, but it certainly didn't feel that way.

He had been in a collapsing mini realm, so if this place was collapsing, he would know it.

'This might be an effect of that spatial-attributed lifeform…'

Exiting this outpost town, Davis and Stella headed further.

She no longer bothered to hide her excitement and directly kept looking into the direction of the lifeform, so Davis just decided to follow her gaze.

"What…? How…?"

Stella inclined her head.

There was the aura of humans here, but she couldn't understand.

Davis turned to look at her reaction and inferred that this had been an abandoned realm and no one was here when she first came here. This would explain the confusion on her face, causing him to chuckle.

"Silly… you probably went around leaking information while investigating, so some smart cultivators would've caught wind of it and followed your tracks leading here…"

"Ah~"

Stella finally realized.

She stuck her tongue out adorably and grabbed his hand, taking him to the Void Class Calamity. Within half a minute, they crossed a mountain valley and entered a vast space, but within this expanse stood- no, floated a monstrosity.

"What the…"

Davis blinked as he saw a forty-meter tall and wide entity hover in the air.

It was an amorphous mass of space, its gelatinous surface rippling as though containing innumerable stars as it shimmered under the wobbly skies. Hues of cosmic colors swirled on its ethereal and liquid-like skin that wobbled without much movement.

Ripples of spatial energy kept undulating around it and occasionally manifested into runes, which was extremely fascinating.

Going by the magical beast size standards, this monstrosity was extremely… small.

However, Davis had no doubt that this monstrosity might be able to stretch a hundred times its size or even more.

Why…?

"It's a freaking slime…"

Davis's jaws dropped slowly, never expecting to meet such a low-level mob monster here as a Void Class Calamity.

"Boo~" Stella shook her head, "It's called the Voidslime Realm Eater."

"Voidslime Realm Eater…"

Davis's brows twitched as he walked around it while maintaining a distance of three hundred kilometers before he saw its mouth on the other side.

It appeared to have no eyes, but it sure appeared to have a mouth, one that could cause nightmares.

Extending from its slimy and gelatinous spatial body was a mouth-like orifice, a chasm of gnashing mandibles that seemed to pierce the very fabric of space itself. Its mouth expanded and contracted, the edges of its gaping maw distorted, warping the very essence of reality around it, practically consuming the fabric of space.

It didn't even cause spatial cracks or fissures to occur.

It simply latched onto the fabric of space like a baby sucking on its mother's nipples and kept sucking as it consumed this very mini realm into its gelatinous body.

'No wonder the entire space here is wobbly… this entire mini-realm is being consumed by this slime from within…'

Davis had to admit this was a Void Class Calamity if it could do something like this without causing much of a ruckus outside.

If it weren't for Stella, no one would've been able to find this place.

As for the humans, he saw that they all sat around it and looked at the lifeform with much concentration, comprehending the runes that the Voidslime Realm Eater exuded, and from the looks of it, he saw that it was extremely beneficial.

"Tell me more about it…"

Davis narrowed his eyes at Stella, causing her to clear her throat with a prideful expression.

"I know about it due to my inherited memories. The Voidslime Realm Eater likes to eat space. Its favorite meals are mini-realms, and it's also kind of my natural enemy, so I have no choice but to rely on your help…"

Davis saw that Stella kept her undulations hidden.

Clearly, it would be bad if the Voidslime Realm Eater finds a Void Dust Tree. It was too bad that it didn't even seem to care about the people or anything around it, which meant it had a nearly impenetrable defense or was just plain stupid.

It was a slime, after all.
