"Captain, more of these Voidfigures are heading in this direction. I don't think we can hold on for much longer." One of the soldiers holding a broken sword cried out in panic. "We are really going to die this time." It had been 7 hours since they began fighting these creatures called Voidfigures. Until now, they have killed countless Voidfigures, but their numbers never seem to decrease, no matter how many they killed.

It was as if their number were endless. "Calm down!!! We are not going to die. We will win...!!" The Captain of the interrupted when suddenly a wall of Golden flinstantly burned a few hundred soldiers to death. "What's happening? Why is he attacking our side?" Asked the Captain in a panicked tone. Bang....!!!

Before the nearby soldier could respond, another explosive shook the entire battlefield. They had no choice but to take cover behind a large boulder. "Captain, it appears this one is a 'Duplicate' of our Senior." Another soldier explained. Hearing this, the Captain's face turned ugly. After all, when a Voidfigure turns into a 'Duplicate,' defeating that Voidfigure becomes 100 times if 1000 times more difficult. And this Voidfigures has managed to absorb the Mana of a Vermillion Inferno Dragon and has managed to turn itself into a Vermillion Inferno Dragon; this mas made this 'Duplicate' 100 times more dangerous than an average 'Duplicate.' As soon as this happened, the whole tide of the battle changed. "All the Dragonians were strictly ordered not to engage the Voidfigures in close combat." The Captain thought this Dragonian had disobeyed the orders given to them by the Dragon Monarch himself. "Captain, Senior Lin obeyed the orders of His Majesty. Asked the Captain. "No, sir. Senior Lin is seriously injured. He was caught off-guard by his 'Duplicate'; otherwise, he would have been able to defeat his 'Duplicate.'" "So he is out of this battle?" The Captain asked with an ugly face. The Captain peeked out of the boulder only to find that this 'Duplicate' was rapidly increasing its kill count. Every second, a troop was dying in its hand. And because of the chaos that this Duplicate caused, other Voidfigures got the chance to turn into 'Duplicates.' The soldier looked at the battlefield only to see that Senior Lin's 'Duplicate' was heading in this direction. Seeing this, his pupils contracted the size of a needle. His whole body started trembling. At that moment, no one noticed that the space around Senior Lin's body had started distorting. "Captain, he is coming in this direction...!!" The soldier screamed out loud. His face had turned pale. He had never been so close to death. "I can see that idiot...!!!"

Just as everything seemed bleak and hopeless, the ground suddenly burst open. Large cracks appeared all over the ground. This made everyone stop. Even the Duplicate charging towards the Captain stopped and tilted its head to look at the cracks on the ground. He could feel that something extremely dangerous was staring at him. Suddenly, magma started coming out of all the cracks. Seeing this, the Duplicate let out a Dragon roar before charging toward one of the larger cracks as it sensed something in that crack. However, just when it moved, a brownish-red object was fired toward the Duplicate. The Duplicate did not even have tto process what was coming towards it when the magma spear completely destroyed its head. For a second, everyone stared at the Duplicate that was without its head. The next second, gravity pulled the Duplicate towards the ground. As it began falling, its body started returning to its original state, which was just black. The moment its body fell to the ground, it turned into black mist and then disappeared without leaving a trace behind. Seeing this everyone sighed in relief. In a short time, this Duplicate already had taken the lives of 3,300 troops. The Captain, who was hiding behind a boulder, also sighed in relief. "Who is doing this?" Everyone, including the Captain, had the squestion. In the next second, countless brownish-red spears were fired toward the Voidfigures and the Duplicates. Everyone watched the scene with their mouth open in shock and amazement. For a brief moment, the whole sky was painted in brownish-red streaks of light. When it ended, there were no more Voidfigures or Dulicates remaining on the battlefield. The whole battlefield turned totally silent. "Who could have done this?" "I don't know."

"Could it be His Majesty?" One of the soldiers wondered but then he quickly shook his head. Everyone was looking at each other; hoping to find any clues or answers from their brothers and colleagues. ROARRRRRRRRR!!!

In the next second, a loud thunderous Roar shook the entire night sky and earth. When everyone looked up, they saw behind the veil of the clouds, there was a gigantic Crimson Dragon. Through the cracks and gaps within the veil of the clouds, they were able to see the face of the Monarch. Their King had saved them. From the corner of his eyes, Aditya looked at the battlefield for one last tbefore he disappeared. There were other cities that also needed his help. "It was His Majesty who saved us." The soldiers started cheering. While they cheered this victory, Aditya went to various other cities. -

Scene Change______

Another 24 hours very quickly passed. It had been two days since Spencer's wedding had ended. Spencer and Aria were enjoying their honeymoon without knowing of what was happening in the Istarin Empire. In the last 24 hours, the attacks from the Voidfigures hadn't stopped. According to a rough estimation, till now, the Istarin Empire has killed up to 9 million of the Voidfigures. The Empire lost close to 78,000 troops, including Dragonians. The good thing was, till now, no Istarin Empire's town or village has been attacked by these Voidfigures. These creatures, or whoever is sending these creatures, have been purposefully targeting large cities in the Istarin Empire. Till now, no Istarin Empire's cities have failed to stop the Voidfigures. But constantly fighting the Voidfigures without getting proper tto rest definitely affected the Istarin troops. Scities have been fighting the Voidfigures for up to 12 hours. Aditya noticed that after the first attack on the Empire's capital, it had not been attacked again. All the Dragonians, Imperial troops, and all the Generals have been constantly fighting in various cities of the Empire. Around 5 in the morning, Aditya returned to his office. After returning, he started working on making more of the Lightning Formations since this formation proved to be really useful against the Voidfigures. Besides, making Lightning Formations is really easy. It only took Aditya 25 to 30 minutes to make one of them. Instead of drawing the runes on the city walls, Aditya drew the runes on a square-shaped red glowing box. The box was about the size of a human head. Starting this formation was really easy and simple. Even a 10-year-old child could activate it. Once activated, the lightning formation will automatically cover the entire city. He chose not to join the others at the dining table for breakfast as every minute matters. Aditya stayed in his office until 9 a.m. Aditya only left his office when he was told that Alicia and Riya were waiting for him in the laboratory. -

"What are you writing?" Riya saw Julia writing something in her diary. She put her two fingers on his wrist, and then she looked at him. "You only have 1/3 of your total Mana." Hearing this, Aditya chuckled. He then replied while patting her head. "Well, I did go to the battlefield." It was usual for Aditya, but the Goddess was worried about him. ----------------
