Chapter 5975: A Strong Foundation Indeed
The flood tiger lay outside the gate like a nice dog in the neighborhood. However, the crowd’s knees trembled while staring at it.
They didn’t dare to cwhen the old demon was guarding and absolutely not now with the tiger. They felt as if the beast was viewing them as potential meals.
Li Qiye inside the hall didn’t care for the commotion outside. His focus was on engraving the crow on the longevity tablet.
He sighed and gently rubbed the tablet, causing it to light up. The strands of light stretched infinitely and when they touched him, they gave him more lifespan.
This was the accumulation of the king’s devotion, praying endlessly night and day.
“You didn’t need to...” Li Qiye said sentimentally as he let the strands enter his palm.

“Screech.” It let out a cry and opened a tiny portal that only a cat could enter.
Inside was a treasure chest and Li Qiye pulled it out. He smiled wryly after seeing the numerous powerful seals.
“Click.” He waved his hand and easily opened it. Magnificent rays oozed out along with the metallic resonation of two powerful weapons.
“Boom!” Everyone felt two forces rushing outward, sweeping them off their feet.
Two pillars of light erupted from Li Shrine - one resembling a divine spear while the other was a blade with a metallic hum.
Their majestic presence engulfed and frightened the crowd, forcing them to channel their cultivation. This proved to be futile.
“Insane Spear and Furious Immortal Sword, is that them?!” Furious Wind shouted.
“Highly possible.” The first elder becemotional.
“They have returned...” Another elder murmured in a daze.
These suprweapons were wielded by Soaring Phoenix Commander and the guardian. The two disappeared along with their masters.
Subsequent generations served for them to no avail, eventually conceding. In this generation, Furious Wind and the others had never expected to witness a miracle today.
“So the legend was true, they were kept by our Virtuous King. Looks like they have been in the shrine all this time.” The group understood at this point.
Previous ancestors weren’t foolish and Li Shrine had always been a main focus of the search. Alas, they couldn’t find a single clue and gave up on this idea.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmBack in the main hall, Li Qiye saw three weapons in the treasure chest - Insane Spear, Furious Immortal Sword, and a third weapon.
“Clank.” Li Qiye picked the third up and closed the chest.
With that, the visual phenomena disappeared outside. The king and the elders exchanged glances, wondering if they could see the mythical weapons.
“They’re in the shrine, I’m sure of it.” Furious Wind said.
“We have to search every inch of the place.” An elder added.
Furious Wind stared at the shrine and felt his heart beating faster.
“We’ll be able to revitalize the sect with them, the future is ours.” Another elder becexcited.
“Such a powerful foundation.” Edge Mountain Crone was envious because her ancestors didn’t leave behind anything of this level to the sect.
Unfortunately, the sproblem remained for Insane Gate - getting through the old demon and most importantly, the dog.
Back in the hall, Li Qiye carefully observed the weapon in his hand - a pair of short blades. They weren’t divine weapons or anything, merely made from mortal iron.
If those waiting outside were to see this, they would certainly be shocked. Why would mortal blades be stored with their ancestral divine weapons?
