If Joyce is still unable to fall in love with Justin even after the two get together,

then all the time, effort, and love that he commits into their relationship will be for nothing.

To stay with a person you dont love is a form of torture in itself, so Joyce will eventually break up with him.She will

still have her child with her, but Justin won’t be getting back the time and effort he has given them.

Since Justin isn’t the father of the child to begin with, he won’t even be able to gain custody over the child.

In the end, Justin will be all alone with nothing.I’m sure Justin is aware of all that when he confessed to Joyce, so

he’s probably mentally prepared for whatever the outcome may be.

Natalie figured all of that out as well the moment she read Shane’s text.

She then sent him a text saying: Justin is a nice guy, so I was really hoping for Joyce to fall in love with him.

That way, she might just be able to find happiness in life.

Shane replied: That’s their business, not ours.It’s their choice if they wish to proceed with that relationship, so I’m

sure they’ll accept the outcome of their choices regardless of what happens.

Natalie texted: I know.

That’s exactly why I’m not planning on getting involved any further.She had no reason to get involved since Justin

was already aware of the possible outcomes of his choices.

Besides, it was possible that the two of them would actually end up being in love for real.

Even if that turned out to not be the case, it would still be an outcome that they had anticipated right from the

start.

Natalie then continued chatting with Shane for a little while longer before putting her phone away and getting back

to editing the blueprint.

Later that afternoon, she said goodbye to Joyce and was preparing to head home when she saw Shane standing

next to his Maybach by the roadside.

Her eyes lit up with excitement as she ran up to him and asked, “Darling? What are you doing here?”

“I came to pick you up from work,” Shane replied.

The car window was rolled down all of a sudden, and her two kids stuck their heads out the window to greet her.

“Hi, Mommy!”

Natalie flashed them a smile before turning to look at Shane.

“You picked the kids up too?”

“Yeah.Come on, I’ll take you somewhere special,” Shane said while opening the door to the passenger seat.

“Where are we going? I thought we’d be heading straight home?” Natalie asked curiously after getting into the car.

“We’ll go somewhere else first.It’s a surprise.”

Shane then closed the door for her before getting into the driver’s seat.

“What’s with all this suspense?”

Natalie mumbled as she fastened her seat belt.

“You’ll find out soon enough.Sit tight, now!” Shane replied with a chuckle.

Natalie nodded.

“Okay!”

There was a look of envy in Joyce’s eyes as she watched the Maybach speed off into the distance.She had always

known that Natalie was incredibly lucky to have a husband, two lovely children, and a successful career.

Meanwhile, she had been so obsessively in love with Stanley that it blinded her to everything else in life.She too,

wished she could let go of her feelings for Stanley and move on in life, but she just couldn’t bring herself to actually

do so.

Although becoming pregnant had helped her with moving on, it didn’t mean she had stopped loving Stanley

completely.
