Scarelett had a literary talent, and those words were very meaningful and encouraging.
Rowan also saw it. He was a bluff man, and he didn't even have as much acquaintance with literature as Kate.
But Kate's maternal grandfather was a renowned scholar, and she had learned a lot from her grandpa. Also, Rowan on occasions wrote articles with Kate. Though his proficiency couldn't hold a candle to Kate, he could tell that Scarlett was very good with words.
He felt that her words were like her character.
Rowan could tell from the couple of words that his granddaughter was an aspirational woman.

Rowan nodded in satisfaction and turned to look at Scarlett. "You haven't been back for many years, right? It's not every day you get to come here. Would you like to go and say hi to the students in the same class you used to be in?" Rowan's words were exactly what Mrs.
Towver was thinking. Apart from anything else, Scarlett used to be her student, and she knew very well what Scarlett was like.
Scarlett had shown her all due courtesy. She and the principal and the other topranking executives valued Scarlett so much partially because Scarlett was indeed the most intelligent student that this school had seen in many years, and more importantly, Scarlett had gifts delivered to them on every major holiday.
Those gifts were not costly, but she could tell that Scarlett had picked them with care. They were mostly basic necessities like flour, oil etc., which wouldn't raise doubts in anybody's mind.
Apart from that, every year Scarlett made a donation to the school which would be used to cover the overhead.
Scarlett had done a lot for the school, and the school board had offered several times to hold a commendation ceremony to commend her in front of the whole school, and he had also wanted to request the municipal government to bestow the title Outstanding Young Person on her, but Scarlett had rejected all the offers.
Afterward the principal had said Scarlett was not a fame seeker, that they should leave her alone. Therefore, nobody had brought it up again, but they all missed Scarlett.
Now that Scarlett was back, Mrs. Towver, naturally, wanted Scarlett to give those students a pep talk, but she also knew that Scarlett had disliked such occasions when in high school. At the opening ceremony of every semester, it had been the third best student in the grade who spoke on behalf of the students, for Justin, the second best student, was just like Scarlett.
Mrs. Towver always found it amazing that this school had licked two outstanding students, Scarlett and Justin, into shape in the same year, and they both had been in her class. Even after so many years, Mrs. Towver still felt like that had been a dream.
Moreover, Scarlett, Justin and Alexis had been inseparable when in high school, and now the three of them were all leading figures in their respective fields. As their teacher, Mrs. Towver was deeply gratified.
Scarlett looked at Mrs. Towver who was gazing at her expectantly. Unable to find a gracious way to reject her request, she smiled, "Well then, I'll go and say hello to them." On hearing her words, Mrs. Towver was delighted. "Okay. I'll go and give them a heads-up!" With that Mrs. Towver walked inside.

Scarlett was standing next to the window, feeling slightly embarrassed. Many students in there had noticed that she was standing outside.
Mrs. Towver had walked into the classroom up to the teacher's desk. "I'll have to take up ten minutes of your time. The Scarlett Reed you've heard a lot about but never seen has come back to our school. At the risk of looking thick-skinned, I invited her here to have a brief talk with you guys. Don't let the opportunity go to waste! If you have any questions, feel free to ask her." Though in her forties, Mrs. Towver was a fairly enlightened woman, and she wasn't very stern with her students.
After Scarlett entered, she walked to the side to let Scarlett take full control of the occasion.
Scarlett was wearing a long skirt. When eating, the temperature in the room had been rather low due to the AC, so she had put on a cream sweater. She wasn't wearing any make-up, but she had a well-featured face. Standing behind the teacher's desk in the lamplight, she struck the students down below as dazzlingly beautiful.
"Sorry to disturb your study hall. Mrs.
Towver told me many of you guys were curious about me, so | came here to let you see I'm just an ordinary person." After saying that, Scarlett gave a smile. The students down below began to exchange excited whispers.
