Ever since the year she was seventeen, standing alone outside the funeral home waiting for her parents to be cremated, Scarlett had been afraid of facing death.

Scarlett thought about a lot of things tonight. She didn't sleep until after four in the morning.

At seven o'clock, the alarm clock rang loudly.

Scarlett frowned, sat up, and looked at the unfamiliar surroundings.

She came back to the Tank family last night with Larry, and today she would go to the hospital to see her grandma.

Last night she didn't sleep well. Scarlett looked weary.

Just after she washed her face, a maid came over to remind her to go downstairs for breakfast.

Scarlett glanced at Alexis' message, raised her eyebrows, and replied, "Let's talk about it later". She then went downstairs.

"Did you sleep well last night?" Scarlett didn't want to lie. "I'm not used to the new bed." Viviana chuckled. "The same as your cousin." After that, Larry came downstairs and gave Scarlett a look. "You didn't sleep well last night, did you?" Viviana laughed. "Scarlett doesn't like the new bed, just like you." Larry's eyebrows moved as he grunted.

The atmosphere of the Tank family was very nice.

They were not asked to keep silent while eating and sleeping. Afraid that Scarlett would feel awkward, Viviana occasionally asked about her current situation.

The divorce between Scarlett and Raymond last year caused an uproar. Viviana didn't know about the reason for it, but she didn't mention it for fear that it would make Scarlett sad. Viviana just asked some casual questions.

After all, Larry was a busy public official. He managed to go to Juanton City yesterday afternoon. He had no time to investigate what happened between Scarlett and Raymond.

The three people couldn't take a car. Viviana took another car so that Scarlett and Rowan were in the same car.

Scarlett couldn't bear to see him like this. "My mother was not called Pearl before. She was called Kenny. She didn't change her name until she married my father." Pearl had been dead for almost ten years. No one knew why she changed her name.

Yet Rowan was comforted, but thinking that they spent more than thirty years but didn't find her, he felt guilty again.

"Mr. Tank, we're here!" the driver said.

Rowan glanced at Scarlett. "We've arrived, Scarlett." "Be careful." Scarlett helped Rowan get out of the car.
