Connor dropped Flora off at her lab and was about to leave when a black sedan scraped by his car. He caught a glimpse of the passenger, and his usually relaxed eyes narrowed slightly. What was he doing at the lab? "Everyone, can I have your attention for a moment?" Dr. Ray announced, his excitement palpable. "Our investor is visiting today. Let's be on our best behavior and give them a warm welcome!" The lab was on the cusp of a major breakthrough but needed a substantial amount of funding. Just a few days ago, someone had stepped up with a whopping fifty-million-dollar investment! Fifty million! Dr. Ray had been too excited to sleep for days and was especially thrilled since the benefactor had mentioned visiting today. First impressions were everything, and he wanted to showcase the lab's potential.

"Don't worry, Dr. Ray, we'll make sure to give a warm welcome!" the team promised, hoping to secure even more funding.

Everyone paused their work to clean and tidy up the lab. Alexa kept glancing at the door, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Twenty minutes later, Dr. Ray got a call from the investor and hurried downstairs. Everyone craned their necks in anticipation. "Flora, do you know who the investor is? It's Otto Brimer from the Brimer family!" Darcy shared excitedly with Flora.
