The day Reuben savedfrom the rogue trafficking ring, I fell for him. I slowly

had just stepped out. Quickly throwing on sclothes, I rushed out of my

“Reuben!” I found him in the clearing, just as he was about to open his car door.

When he heard my voice, he turned with a big smile and spread his arms. I

rushed into his embrace, hugging him tightly. “Are you leaving again? When will

you be back?”

He chuckled and k*ssed my forehead, “Soon, I’ll be back very soon.”

“Then I’ll be waiting for you, I raised my tip toes and gave him a soft k*ss on the

before reluctantly pulling away and driving off.

I watched his car until it disappeared from the clearing, already feeling his

absence.

Taking a deep breath, I turned around and found an old man standing in the
