Godlike Player in a Game-Like World
Chapter 129 [Bonus ] Getting The Inheritance (Part 2)Fehim began to move while still sporting the green armor, glancing up at the massive, seemingly nearby black tomb.
"Don't be deceived that our target appears to be close; I'll likely be there in 30 minutes running at my pace, even if there are no mobs to obstruct me." He turned to Raydon and said.
Raydon nodded, then retrieved his sword from his dimensional storage and awaited him.
''They will begin to emerge from the ground after a few meters. Be cautious and do not let them catch you, or you will be buried before you even realize what is happening. '' After issuing his final warning, Fehim began running with all his might. Then, without delay, Raydon closely followed.
*Crackle* *Crackle*
*Crackle* *Crackle*
Raydon and Fehim ran a few meters until, exactly as he had said, skeletons began to emerge from the ground around them from all directions.
A lion's head popped up from the ground right where Raydon was about to put his foot, and the monster pounced on him, trying to bite off his foot.
''Flame Burst. ''
He activated his skill just as his foot was about to enter the skull's razor-sharp mouth, and the jet-black flames that erupted from beneath his feet shattered the skull and set it ablaze.

"Cool, they're generous with XP ."
Raydon exclaimed with joy as he leaped forward, rising three meters into the air from the impact of the skill, and he caught a clear glimpse of his surroundings for the first time.
''What the heck is this? They're all experience points, right? ''
White skeletons could be seen as far as the eye of Raydon could see. Beasts like dogs, wolves, lions, cats, humans, elephants, and even...
''Fuck, birds!!! ''
''Spirit Wave. ''
Without even understanding how it was still able to fly, Raydon smashed the skeleton bird coming towards him with his skill.
Soon after Raydon landed on the ground, Fehim shattered the five skeleton beasts that appeared in front of him with a single swing of his ax, turned his head, and said.
''This is only the start. We won't even have room to swing our weapons when they surround us. So watch out that they don't get too close to us. ''
Raydon agreed by nodding. In dealing with the skeletons in front of them, they must move quickly because, as Fehim warned, if they slowed down even slightly and fell backwards, they would find themselves in a heap of bones.
While Raydon and Fehim are still fighting their way through the skeletons, Raydon has quickly assessed the situation and decided to use his depart skill.
-Skill: Depart
Locks onto a target and increases the user's speed by 25% until the target dies, vanishes, or the skill expires. If the target dies before the skill expires, the user gains 5% extra speed and +30 seconds to the skill duration, which can be stacked up to 5 times.
pàпdá-ňᴏνêι.сóМ The duration of the skill increases depending on the stamina stat.
-Mana cost: 6
-Duration: 5 minutes.
-Cooldown: 7 minutes.
With the additional movement speed he would gain, he would be able to react quicker to skeletons that suddenly emerged from the ground and swing his sword more quickly. Additionally, as long as he maintained his mana and kept killing the monsters, Raydon could keep using his skill without taking a break while he was among this army of monsters.
He followed closely behind Fehim, his sword flashing as he parried and slashed at any skeletons that got too close, and Fehim charged forward with his massive ax, crushing the bones of the monsters with each swing.
As the skeletons closed in on them, Raydon unleashed a Flame Burst that completely engulfed the area in flames, destroying the white bones and clearing the area on all sides.
He slashed his way through the fray, dodging and slashing at the skeletons that got in his way. With each kill, he felt a surge of energy as his Depart skill was further enhanced, allowing him to move even more quickly.
''Hook, ''
Finding an opening, a tiger skeleton leaped onto Fehim's right leg and tried to bite it before Raydon drew it with a hook and slashed it in half with his sword.

And with a wave of black smoke slash, he sliced through three more approaching skeleton humans.
He tried to run faster by using his depart skill and step techniques, but despite his best efforts, he could only keep up with Fehim, who had a higher agility stat than him.
''You have excellent area of effect attacks.'' After witnessing Raydon use his skills to successfully clear all approaching skeletons, Fehim remarked.
''It's just so-so. Your axe is more effective than my skills. '' Raydon stated the obvious.
He shattered at least 5 skeletons at once every time he swung the massive ax in his hand. He also hadn't seen Fehim use any skills other than the armor he was wearing since they began running among the skeletons.
Fehim merely laughed and continued running, stomping on the skeletons in his path like a tank. Clearly, Raydon's presence had greatly eased his restricted movements when he was alone, and he could now only concentrate on what was in front of him.
…
..
.
After Fehim and Raydon fought and ran for another half an hour with Raydon in the back and Fehim in the lead, he finally let out a jubilant shout.
''This is incredible. We did it in just an hour. ''
When Raydon heard Fehim's words, he looked up, snapping out of the trance he had been in caused by his constant accumulation of experience points. He saw that the black tomb, whose apparent proximity had been an illusion until now, was actually only a few meters away.
'We finally made it to the tomb, but I can't even be happy about that. ' Looking at the rapidly accumulating experience points, Raydon sighed. Despite having a high stamina stat, fighting for an hour had worn him out, and his mana was almost completely depleted. He knew that if he fought like this for another ten minutes, he would eventually have to give up and allow himself to be buried between the bones.
'But still, I have enormous gains. ' Raydon beamed as he looked at his accumulated XP and decided that reaching level 2 wouldn't be all that difficult.
