Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian-Novel2
Chapter 1535 - Did You Do Something to Let Luosang Down?
Chapter 1535: Did You Do Something to Let Luosang Down?
In the karaoke club at 11:00 p.m., they blasted Sandy Lam’s “I Heard That Love Had Returned” on the huge screen as Nian Xi stood on top of the coffee table with a microphone in her hands, screaming along to the song “Ten Years.” Meanwhile, Luosang stood on the other coffee table and sang to the tune of “So You Actually Don’t Want Anything at All.”
Nian Junting sat alone in the corner, and the corners of his mouth twitched as he watched the two women act on a drunken fit. He felt thankful to have tagged along, as he was sure that both of them would be too drunk to know how to return home if he had left them to their own devices.
He could understand why Nian Xi was upset, but he could not wrap his head around why Luosang would hug the microphone and cry as though her heart had just been broken.
Nian Junting’s temples twitched for quite some time. Eventually, he could not hold himself back anymore and yanked Luosang off from the coffee table. He then gritted his teeth and spoke into her ear, “You better make yourself clear. Who’s the person who doesn’t want anything at all?”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtLuosang, who was already heavily drunk, blinked her eyes and looked at him for a long time. “What did you say?” she asked.
Nian Junting roared and replied, “I’m asking who you’re singing this song for!”
Luosang cocked her head and dug her ear blankly, before saying, “Can you speak louder? I can’t hear you...”
Nian Junting was speechless.
His throat had become hoarse from yelling, and yet she said that she could not hear him.
Feeling depressed, he lifted a glass of water and took a sip before letting go of Luosang. “Carry on with your singing,” he said.
Luosang then turned around and jumped back onto the table to sing.
Nian Junting sat alone for some time. As his head was aching from all the noise that they were making, he walked over to the door to have a moment of quietness. He then decided to find someone to back him up, as he felt that he would not be able to deal with these two crazy women all by himself, no matter how capable he was.
However, he was reluctant to allow others to touch the two women.
After pondering about it for a long time, he eventually called Mo Liuxi.
By the time Mo Liuxi arrived, it was already midnight. When he saw the disheveled state of the two women and how they were acting on a drunken fit, he frowned.
He walked towards Nian Junting and asked coldly, “Did you do something to let Luosang down?”
“I did not...” Nian Junting replied, incredulous.
“Then why is she singing ‘I’m Not The One You Want’? Can’t you hear how sad she sounds when she’s singing? She’s even crying! Why would she cry if you didn’t let her down?” Mo Liuxi asked, his black eyes incandescent with fury. action
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmNian Junting silently cursed a thousand times in his heart, and he felt that it might have been better if he had simply carried them back on his own. “Your sister even sang the song ‘Breakup Happily’ when she got drunk back then. She has the habit of singing breakup songs when she’s drunk. You can ask her tomorrow morning if you don’t believe me. If you seriously insist on pressing on with this, I too want to ask her who she’s thinking of when she’s drunk,” Nian Junting explained.
Mo Liuxi watched him silently for a moment, and when he realized Nian Junting did not seem like he was lying, he then turned around to grab hold of Nian Xi. “So you want me to carry her?” he asked.
“You can carry your sister. Nian Xi just fell out of love. What if she falls for you?” Nian Junting replied after some thought.
Mo Liuxi was speechless.
He could ignore Nian Junting’s narcissism, but Nian Junting made it sound as though all of his family members were perfect.
“You’re thinking too much. Susu’s much gentler and softer, and I like women like that. Girls who are too masculine aren’t my type.”
Nian Junting chuckled and said, “Fine. Next time, I’ll tell Yan Su that you like women who are gentle and soft. It’s usually very easy for women to steal a man with such inclinations away from his lover. It’s easy for a hypocritical prude to pretend to be gentle and soft after all!”
Hearing his words, Mo Liuxi was completely taken aback.
Mo Liuxi’s chest heaved in anger, and he wondered if Nian Junting was intentionally pitting against him tonight. “I’ll leave you to handle these two women on your own if you continue to harp on like that,” he warned.
Nian Junting’s lips curled up into a smile, and he turned around to drag Nian Xi off from the coffee table.
