Chapter 1049 A Small Meetup Kaze walked out of Hudson Investment Firm and arrived at the mayor’s office.

“Oh, Sherry Zauer. Is she up for the award for journalism?” Lou’s mind was put at ease, only to feel unrest again.

Sherry was a well-known pretty face in the media. Lou wondered if Kaze was interested in her, or if they were having an affair already.

“Do you know her, Mr. Mayor?” he asked.

Lou added, “Sherry has been the anchor of the local financial news for years. She’s an outstanding journalist, and her segments have always been high in TV ratings.

“She is attending the meetup as a candidate. She’s waiting outside in the lobby. Should I call her in?” Lou asked.

Kaze grinned without a word.
