Chapter 473 Tough Love Justin and Emeris were with Wilson in the living room. Emeris had always admired Wilson's noble demeanor, which made him seem incredibly reliable.
As Seraphina entered, she spotted little Dani dragging his small suitcase down the stairs. His eyes were red- rimmed and unwilling.
"Ms. Lovely!" Dani ran over to her, looking pitiful, and hugged Seraphina tightly.
She returned the embrace, her heart aching at the thought of him leaving.
After living with them for a long time, the boy had truly beca part of their family.
Yet she knew that Wilson's feelings for Dani were even more profound.
Wilson stood up and smiled at her.
"Because of issues abroad, we've already delayed for quite stime. Dani's school is about to start, and we can't hold things up any longer." Emeris sighed, clearly reluctant.
"There are plenty of good schools in Ascotia. Why does he have to go to school in Oflar?" Wilson patiently clarified, "We specially tailor his courses in Oflar; this service isn't available domestically. Dani has adapted to the pace of learning abroad, and if we suddenly switch him to a local school, it would derail his studies." Wilson had arranged Dani's education with expert guidance, securing the best school and the finest teachers-far superior to what an ordinary institution could offer.
Emeris looked at little Dani with sadness. Dani, ever the sensible child, walked over and hugged Emeris around the neck.
"Emeris, I'll visit you often! I'll finish all my courses quickly and inherit my dad's entire estate. Then I'll return in style, and we'll be together forever. No one can separate us!" Wilson inhaled sharply at this declaration. Wow, what ambitious dreams! He might as well wish his old man kicked the bucket earlier.
Emeris chuckled helplessly, comforting Dani with a few words before they were sent off at the door.

"Goodbye, Seraphina." Finishert With outstanding grace, Wilson bid Seraphina farewell, then grasped Dani by the collar and ushered him into the back seat.
He resolved to adopt the Astren family's educational methods so that this boy would learn what paternal love truly meant.
Within a week, Joseph had good news.
The court had formally charged Blake, Seth, and others with asset misappropriation and falsifying accounts, resulting in a three-year prison sentence.
Following this, the Cross Group officially acquired Griffin Corporation.
At the outset, the employees at the company had united against the Crosses, so Seraphina felt little sympathy for them.
They received unemployment benefits while still coming to work, having no legitimate employment relationship with the company-merely trying to profit from Blake's misdeeds. As a result, only ten employees genuinely belonged to Griffin Corporation.
Those who stayed would remain as the lowest-ranked staff, while those who chose to leave received a substantial severance package.
Ultimately, everyone opted to depart.
With the major issues settled, Seraphina exhaled in relief.
Once the project started, she would monitor the progress and manage the remaining tasks.
In the Cross Group's office, Seraphina sipped her coffee while reviewing a report from Joseph. Suddenly, her phone chimed.
It was Sarah.
"Seraphina." On the other end, Sarah hesitated, seemingly unsure of how to continue.
"What's wrong, Sarah?" "Bruce clooking foragain." Seraphina's heart sank at this.
"So, are you going to tellhow you figured out I was Larisa?" Lora asked Ryan for the umpteenth time.
They were on their way back to Moonstone City and she kept trying to find out how Ryan found out who she really was.
However, Ryan kept dodging the question and talking about something else. This made Lora suspicious and she was now more interested in knowing.
"I know you hired someone to investigatebut you couldn't have found anything. My uncle is an excellent tech guy. He can make anyone disappear," Lora remarked.
She sat back in her comfortable leather chair in the private jet, giving Ryan a side glance.
"Con, tell me. I want to know... I don't think it's Ivy. She wouldn't have wanted you to know who I really was," Lora added.
Ryan's eyes slightly widened. He looked at Lora and asked, "Ivy had known about you and the kids earlier?" He thought she found out when she kidnapped Lora. Once again, Ryan's heart was completely filled with guilt. If only he hadn't fallen for Ivy's deception... everything would have been avoided. However, in real life, there are no ifs. Only regrets. Lora nodded and replied, "Yes, she did. She saw the kids and put two and two together." Ryan gritted his teeth before saying, "Damn... I was careless. Ivy could have done so much to hurt you guys. Luckily, I found out before it was too late-" "Mr Kingsley, don't change the subject here. How did you find out?" Lora asked again.
Ryan sighed, feeling conflicted. He didn't want to hide anything from Lora, but his friend would also get in trouble with Bianca if she found out he had installed a spyon her phone.
"Do you think I don't deserve to know the truth?" "What? No... no, baby. You do... I just... I saw the children too," Ryan replied. "Ethan looked so much like me... I knew the moment I laid my eyes on the twins. I knew they were mine and I confirmed my suspicions about you being Larisa." Lora furrowed her eyebrows. She asked, "How did you see them?" "I saw their pictures in Adan's phone. He..." Ryan sighed before telling Lora everything.
Deep down, he secretly said, 'I'm sorry, Adan. But I have to break the bro code, I can't keep this from her.' "What?" Lora exclaimed, anger flashing through her eyes. "That's so wrong! How can you invade someone's privacy like that?" "I know, love. Adan said it was the fastest way to find out if you were really Larisa. We were desperate," Ryan replied, guilt creeping into him.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmLora sighed, her eyebrows furrowing. She said, "I have to tell Bianca. She deserves to know the truth." Ryan nodded and replied, "You're right... I'll tell Adan to talk to her and apologise. But I don't regret anything... I found you even though you were hiding from me." Lora smiled and remarked, "I was determined to never let you find out about me..." Sadness crept into Ryan at those words. But he understood where Lora was coming from. He had hurt her so much in the past, it was no wonder she didn't want anything to do with him when she returned.
Looking into her eyes, he stated, "I'm grateful you gaveanother chance... second chances are hard to cby, and the fact that you agreed to open your heart toagain just shows how kind and loving you are. Thank you for forgiving me, my love." Hours later at another part of the city.
Bianca Jones walked into Maddie's sports apparel store with a tight jaw and cold eyes.
A sales lady saw Bianca and thought she was there for a photoshoot. She approached her and politely said, "Miss Jones, you're not scheduled for a shoot today-" "Where's he?" Bianca went straight to the point.
"Huh?" The sales lady was confused.
"Where's your stupid, jerk of a boss?" Bianca replied. "I know he comes to this store at this tof the day. I' went to Nicholson & Sons building but I wasn't allowed through. I want to see him." The sales lady saw how angry Bianca was and knowing how Adan was with the ladies, she thought Bianca had beca victim of Adan's womanising tactics.
"Um..." The sales lady trailed, wondering if she should tell Bianca the truth. What if she made a scene at the store? "Where's Adan Nicholson, that jerk? I want to see him, now!" Bianca yelled, her eyes flashing with anger.
She had spoken to Lora earlier and found out what Adan had done. Bianca was infuriated. The man not only stole her first time, but he also put a spyon her phone to spy on her. "Where's Ada-" "Are you looking for me?" A deep velvety voice echoed around them and Bianca froze. She turned around to find Adan standing behind her with an annoying smirk on his lips.
"You..." Bianca curled her hands into fists. "How dare you?" Adan had been briefed by Ryan, so he knew why Bianca looked like she was about to release steam from her ears.
"Who do you think you are, Adan Nicholson? How could you sneak around when I'm sleeping and put a spyon my phone? I feel so exposed right now," Bianca spat, her eyes colder than ice.
She was upset because she was the reason that Ryan found out about Lora. Even though Lora ended up reconciling with Ryan, it wasn't. Bianca's secret to tell. She felt like she had indirectly betrayed her best friend.
Adan's heart clenched. He was about to apologise when Bianca added, "You're so filthy. Is that what you do? Do you spy on all the women you sleep with? What did you hope to achieve, huh?" Clenching his hands into fists, Adan's eyes turned cold as he glanced at Bianca. Instead of the words he wanted to say earlier, he sneered and said, "Do you think you're part of those women? have a type, Miss Jones." Bianca froze. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, nothing happened between you and me. You got drunk and vomited all overso took You to my place....don't think I would ever touch you when you're not my type," Adan replied coldly, anger flaring through him. How dare she call him filthy? So many people had called him that but Adan didn't know why hearing it from Bianca irritated him to the core.
A flicker of hurt flashed through Bianca's eyes. She glared at Adan and spat, "I was wrong about you. You're such a jerk!" She whipped around and left the store angrily.
At the stime, Adan opened his mouth to call for her. However, he stopped himself, thinking, 'It's all for the best.'
