Before Frank had time to answer, Emily had already walked over to bring the piece of cake

for Rowan. Louis walked behind her with a spoon in his hand.

“Everyone, please enjoy the meal! We’ll be back after we deliver the cake to Great

with the twins.

you are special to us.” Louis pushed the spoon closer.

Rowan snorted. His eyes narrowed slightly. “Why do you guys think I’m special?”

“Because you’re our great-grandfather, and we are family,” Emily

answered in a sweet voice. “Come on, Grandpa. Eat it! The tip of a spoon is fine too.”

Kara and Frank started to move restlessly. Rowan’s refusal was too obvious. However, just
