Jeremy raised Ava'’s left hand, pointing to the ring on her finger. Seeing a diamond there, Eva’s eyes almost

jumped out.

“You still want to call our relationship wrong?” Jeremy tilted his head slightly. One of his eyebrows pressed

against his forehead. “I told you, Ava is my future wife. | proposed to her earlier. So, it is my duty to protect her.

You insist on staying in this house. So, | have no choice but to unite our rooms. Only then, you won't touch her

without my knowledge.”

“But Mom-"

“She wouldn't mind,” Jeremy interrupted firmly. “If she really wants her beloved daughter to live here, take care

of her and accompany her, she will definitely agree to any conditions.”

he always looks cynical at me, and | can’t sneak into his room,” she thought worriedly.

Suddenly, the two servants approached Eva. “Sorry, Miss Connor. Please wait a moment. Your room will be ready

soon.”

“If you guys had prepared it earlier, | wouldn't have had to wait. Tsk, how annoying.”

The servants exchanged glances. Then, they went to carry out their duties.

Eva threw herself on the sofa. Her eyes were dim, her lips pursed. What can | do to separate them?”

Meanwhile, Jeremy and Ava walked casually into the room.

“Jeremy,” Ava swallowed hard, trying to shake off the awkwardness that was curdling in her blood, “do you think

accepting Eva was a right decision?”

first?”

nightgown...”

“I'll get it for you. You just take a shower. You must be tired today. You need to rest immediately.”

Ava smiled slightly. After nodding, she stepped away shyly.

“Need my help to take off your dress?”

Ava flinched. “No, | can open it myself. Thank you.”

Without wasting any more time, Ava went into the bathroom and locked the door. Her heart was beating fast

while cleaning herself. When she opened the door to get clothes, she felt like she had turned into a boiled crab.

In fact, only her hand was sticking out the door.

“Here are your clothes.”

“Thank you.” Ava quickly pulled on her clothes and closed the door. Seeing that, Jeremy let out a smile.

When Ava saw what she had just achieved, she was stunned. Inevitably, she opened the door again. This time,

While standing in front of the mirror, she put on the t-shirt. As it turned out, her guess was right. The t-shirt that

hung down to her thighs made her look like a delicious meal.

“This is bad. | won't be able to sleep if Jeremy seeslike this.”

Coming out of the bathroom, Ava walked straight towards the bed Her arms were folded in front of her chest.

When she was about to

pull back the blanket, Jeremy’s voice froze her movements.

“How is the t-shirt? Is it comfortable?”

Ava’s eyes moved to avoid him. However, the sound of his footsteps. ccloser.

“Yes, it's comfortable.” She quickly covered herself with the blanket.” Thank you, Jeremy.”

When she turned around, a kiss landed directly on her forehead, “Then sleep. | still have to take care of

something.”

Ava’s imagination was immediately shattered. “You don’t want to sleep yet?” She didn’t realize that her tone

sounded disappointed.

Ava lay down and closed her eyes. Jeremy was amused by her

“Good night, Ava.” After kissing her forehead once again, he went into the bathroom.

Hearing the sound of the door closing, Ava opened one eye. No

finding Jeremy, she breathed a sigh of relief. “Is he not interested intonight?”

After pondering for a moment, Ava nodded slowly. “That's good. | have to sleep before he finishes showering.”

After adjusting her position, Ava closed her eyes. Either because she was tired or too embarrassed by Jeremy,

she fell asleep quickly.

“Hmm? Is she asleep?” Jeremy muttered as he cout of the bathroom. Seeing the little mouth that was

slightly agape, he let out a smile. “Even when she’s sleeping, she can still catch me.”

Shaking his head, Jeremy grabbed his phone. Then, with a serious expression, he started typing a message.

“Frank, we have to get ready. Eva started to move. She now lives at my house.”
