Chapter 567 Hearty Meal-1
Samuel rode with Elise in his arms along the usual path to the mansion. To say everyone was staring at him was an understatement. Many people woke up early for work but most active were the guards because early morning were prime time for any intruders.
Most of the time, it would some rogue journalist trying to get some scoop on the family but they would be thrown out with a stern 'warning.' it would work most of the times but if they decided to push the guard they would be bullied by the stellar family lawyers just to make an example out of them.
When they heard the horses gallop it sounded like some primal army invading the premises but when they saw Samuel leading the charge carrying Elise, they relax and only enjoyed the kids having fun.
Few of them even waved and called out to Samuel like he was some young prince riding through the town. Samuel would wave back and say few pleasantries before heading on his way. Elise on the other hand kept giggling and smiling throughout the whole journey.
Just as he reached the mansion, first one to greet him was his little brother.
"Brother!" He called out.
" Gray you are up early?" Sjors stopped abruptly by standing on her hind legs for support. Other horses also stopped running and King also made his way toward Grayson to greet him.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt" I went to training facility with Uncle Peter. It was so cool!"
Samuel thought that his uncle was trying make his little brother to a muscle head like him," Did you like it that much? Even more than visiting the library?" He asked.
" Umm..no not that much but I love to go back there often." Samuel breathed a sigh of relief hearing him say it.
" Did you see mother? She didn't left for work did she?" Samuel knew his parents were workaholic often leaving at odd times. If it were some other kids, they would definitely hate them for not being there for them but with Samuel and Grayson's personality, they completely adapted to their busy schedule.
Samuel even was beginning to imitate it to some extent which was why the two brothers fought in the first place. Other than their parents, Grayson was closest to his big brother. Feeling left was only normal for kids of his age.
" She is here. Everyone is in back garden enjoying the morning tea."
" Good, you already learned to ride right? Hop on King, show me how much progress you made in my absence!"
" But I never rode without a saddle."
" It will be fine, we will take it slow." Samuel knew it was dangerous but with him, he was confident that there would be no accidents. Beside, Grayson and King were very familiar with one another it could be an opportunity to further their bond.
" King, I have to trouble you." Grayson touched King's forehead to which the little horses gave a positive response. He even bend it's knees to make it easier for Grayson to hop on which he never did before.
" King, Gray just follow me. We will run around slowly. Moxie, Phoenix and Pepper closely follow my right. Snowball and Buckeye to the left, let's go!" He gave commands, Sjors started sprinting. They made a wide circle first heading toward the training facilities.
Samuel looked back to see how Grayson was doing," Are you alright? Should we slow down a little?"
" I am fine brother! This is so fun!" Grayson was grabbing on to King's neck tightly but with his posture, Samuel could see that he could right just fine without a saddle. Especially his leg position and lower strength had substantially developed over months of riding.
" What about you Elise? Are you enjoying it?"
" Yaay~" She gave a positive response with both her hands in the air.
lightsnοvεl " But I want to ride one too?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm" You are?"
" I mean like that!" She pointed at Grayson trudging beside them.
" For that, you have to grow up! If you grow as tall as my shoulders I promise, I will teach you how to ride!"
" Un!" Elise didn't make a fuss. She had seen how dangerous it was to control a horse, she could only dream about it after seeing what Samuel did earlier. If he was willing to teach her, she only needed to be patient!
They whizzed passed a group of maid that only exclaimed and cheered for their young masters! Samuel felt a little embarrassed because he recognized few of them, they had taken care of him when he was a child and now they were clamoring like fangirls!
But the next person he met didn't provoke the same response within him, it was his Uncle Peter probably coming back from his morning training. A wicked idea suddenly surfaced out of nowhere and he decided to act on it!
" Everyone stop! Sjors, could you maybe scare him?" He yelled and whispered to Sjors. She already had a wild personality and with her owner telling him to do something that she liked, there was no way she wouldn't put hundred and ten percent of her effort!
She spotted the target and did a mad dash toward him, Samuel held Elise even tighter and increased his leg grip because he knew what was coming.
Sjors didn't disappoint, she stopped about a feet away from Peter and stood up on her hind leg and roared while flinging her front legs around.
" Fuck!" Peter cursed and fell down on his butt. He was scared a little but his fighter mode kicked in, he was worried that Samuel would fall down and hurt himself because Sjors went mad! He was ready to jump on her to protect Samuel when Sjors simply calmed down snorting aggressively.
While Samuel started laughing his ass off looking at frightened look on his uncle's face. That's when he realised the they were playing around and trying to mess with him? He calmed down a little knowing there was no immediate danger.
