System Skill—Emotional Impact!
Yaarliwar activated his System's Core Skill immediately, causing energy waves to fluctuate everywhere, intending to seep into the minds of others. There were two people in the range of the energy fluctuations.
But, when the ability tried to seep into the two figures, something blocked it, preventing it from affecting them.
Mental Energy Body Layer!
Compass Carburettor had shielded both himself and Rhizen with the same, preventing Yaarliwar's abilities from affecting them.
Skill—Emotional Trigger!
Skill—Empathy!
Skill—Pity!
The Emotional Impact System activated a myriad of Skills, grunting when all of them failed. It didn't just use its own luck but also harnessed the luck of every other System that had died to date.
After all, this was their arrangement. So, whenever a System died, part of its powers would be retained by the Systems that remained alive.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThis way, the final survivor would be assisted by all 21 luck varieties, truly making them peerless.
But, Compass Carburettor had already figured out their schemes long ago thanks to the help of Rhizen. Besides, as he had proclaimed the moment he obtained his fusion material, the Luck based Systems had already lost the war.
Yaarliwar continued to struggle as he was unable to free himself, floating in the stretch of void that seemed endless. He used his Origin Essence to fly towards the edge of the Reality Marble and break through it, but no matter how long he travelled, he couldn't find an end.
Sometime later, he was unable to hold on anymore as his blood vessels burst, leading to his death. But shortly after a second, he was revived at full health, looking around in shock before feeling suffocated immediately after.
System Punishment!
As he was struggling, a certain power slammed into him, causing the Emotional Impact System in his mind to scream in pain as part of its body was destroyed as a result.
Soon after, Yaarliwar died and revived. But this time, his luck reserves were lower while his System was significantly more injured.
Compass Carburettor continued to kill the Emotional Impact System while Rhizen continued to steal its luck.
They did this while defending themselves against the mental attacks unleashed by Yaarliwar. The reason they had to do this was to prevent Straxia from being empowered too much.
So, they shaved off as much luck as possible, ensuring that only a trickle of the Emotional Impact Luck would flow into the remaining System Hosts.
This was pretty much what they had been doing all along, ensuring the final boss was someone within their capability to handle.
Otherwise, if they did nothing, then Straxia would truly become powerful enough to kill him even if his power wasn't sealed.
After all, someone assisted by all forms of Luck was pretty much invincible.
And hence, they continued to kill and revive Yaarliwar nonstop, truly breaking his spirits while stealing his foundation. Eventually, the Emotional Impact System was fully destroyed as Compass Carburettor extracted its Coordinate from him.
After that, he placed Yaarliwar in a cage, noticing his body constantly twitching in response as something began to come out of his body.
This was his Martial Spirit. Had he been at the Origin Refinement Stage, extracting his Martial Spirit would have been damn easy. But as he was at the Martial Providence Stage, it was difficult as the cage had to slowly extract them little by little.
Normally, this would have been impossible. But where were they?
Reality Marble!
And hence, they continued to kill Yaarliwar and revive him within the cage itself, causing the alignment between him and his Martial Spirit to slowly wear off.
Eventually, they became two separate entities as Yaarliwar turned into a mortal.
Compass Carburettor stored the Heaven Martial Spirit of Wind Nightingale in a container meant exclusive for Martial Spirits.
The Heaven Grade Golems in the Academy would be able to use them in the future by swapping out the Martial Spirits in their chest. This way, they would be able to wield versatile powers based on the situation at hand.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmCompass Carburettor stored the container with the Heaven Martial Spirit in his storage bracelet, sighing a little, "It's taking a lot of time."
"Well, this is just the first day of the war." Rhizen said, "And we already killed two of them. Now, only six are remaining. We should drag this until the final day."
"I'll not show myself for a while." Compass Carburettor smiled, "Balmer has attained the Extreme Providence Stage. So, at the moment, he's stronger than Ranze. It won't be possible to kill him that easily."
"Your luck values might take a hit if you remain in hiding though." Rhizen advised, sighing upon seeing that Compass Carburettor was unmoved.
'Though, in a mere twenty years, his understanding of Systems has surpassed mine.' Rhizen though, sighing. He had been the Coincidental Luck System's Host for almost a millennium. And in this time, he had been accessing the entirety of its memory reserves.
So, he had a lot of information regarding the Systems. But as for his understanding of them, Compass Carburettor had him beat by miles. 'Maybe this is why he's the Main Character and I'm not.'
"What should I do until then?" Rhizen asked next, hoping to see what Compass Carburettor had in store next.
"Give me company." Compass Carburettor said, causing the environment of the Reality Marble to turn into a grassland as a stone table appeared in its centre. A Vitality Bowl manifested itself in the centre of the stone table, filling itself with hot tea.
Compass Carburettor took a seat, filling a cup with the tea as he began to sip it slowly, motioning for Rhizen to do the same. "Every two months, we'll kill two System Hosts. As for the Gaider Realm…"
He said after a moment's pause, "I've prepared them to face Systems in the future without the present of the Restriction Order. And this is the best trial to grant them the necessary experience."
"So, I'll be completely removing the Restriction Order from this world when I leave?" Rhizen raised an eyebrow.
"Yes," Compass Carburettor nodded, "Considering the value of Mental Energy that could be gained from this Cultivation World, no System below Level 20 would bother coming here. So, there's no need to stretch the Restriction Order too thin. It's not omnipotent. It cannot cover two different worlds and resist attacks from Grade 2 Systems."
He sipped the tea, smiling, "Now, we'll talk about your world."
"We have some free time on our hands, after all."
