Yancy was so weak, and she had taken a tranquilizer. She slept so well that she did not wake up even

after all the trouble.

Although Oliver believed Yancy would continue sleeping for some time, he still came over to see her

every other hour.

At about six o’clock in the afternoon, Fabian brought Diego and his brother from the airport to the hotel.

Oliver arranged for them to stay in a business suité.

Diego and his younger brother, Derek, were both dark-skinned. One looked to be in his thirties, and the

other looked to be about 30 years old. Both of them looked older than their actual

ages.

They looked mediocre and old-fashioned, and Derek even wore a suit that anyone could tell at first

sight was a cheap suit.

The two of them seemed confused all the way from the airport to the hotel. Perhaps they were dazed

by their greed.

Oliver had been observing them since they arrived, and he felt strange. These two brothers did not look

like defrauders. They did not seem smart enough to be able to set such a trap to defraud people.

If he was wrong, then Diego and Derek were indeed not ordinary people. At least their acting skills

were at the level of movie stars.

Diego and his brother were stunned by the luxury of the hotel. They looked around curiously, forgetting

that they planned to ask Oliver what he actually wanted from them upon their arrival.

The waiter served them with some beverages and snacks. Oliver pointed to the beverage and snacks

and said to Diego and Derek in a polite manner, “It’s been a long journey. Let’s have some coffee first.

If you are hungry, you can have the snacks too. I will ask the hotel to arrange dinner later.”

Diego suddenly came to his senses. He looked at Oliver and asked, “You

are…?”

“My name is Oliver Eastwood. I’m the one who called you.” Oliver smiled and introduced himself

politely.

“Oh, I’m Diego. This is my brother, Derek…” Hearing that he was the one who gave them money, Diego

hurriedly introduced himself with a-smile on his face.

around 4,000 dollars a year. Even if they left their hometown to work, they could only earn around

They also agreed to split the money they earned equally.

However, they did make some backup plans on their way here. For instance, they would immediately

call the police if they sensed any sign of danger.

Surprisingly, they did not feel any danger along the entire way. They just felt strange.

If they were women, they could probably be sold for money. However, they were just two poor and not

good-looking bachelors who could not even find wives. Why would anyone want to cheat them?

Seeing that the two brothers were hesitant about drinking the coffee, Oliver did not bother to explain.

He took a sip of his own coffee and said, “Oliver, I told you on the phone that my uncle’s daughter,

Yancy, is nine years old this year. She got a high fever after getting caught in the rain after school one

day. After her fever subsided, she became somewhat confused. As I told you, she couldn’t recognize

her family members at all, and she said that her name is Gianna. The only thing that she mentioned

most clearly is that her two sons are Diego and Derek.”

little girl home and treat her as their mother.
