POV Vesuvius:

"Go, my draconids. Search the coasts until you find that mansion." The dragon's order resonated through his entire divine kingdom, the command reaching all the beasts waiting just for it.

The smoke swirled as dozens of wings flapped, and the fiery lights enshrouded by thick haze entered the golden portal.

'The coast is long even when excluding the other continents and all islands scattered throughout the ocean.'

Luckily for Vesuvius, he wasn't alone, as he had flocks of his loyal monsters ready. He now had the path forward right before him, and all he needed to do was wait until his servants located the first thief.

'Maybe if I get players involved, I could find it faster. With the forums in play, someone who saw it would respond. The problem is something like that would quickly spread as it would not involve only trustworthy players, but the entire forum.

'So, there is also a chance someone would blabber or take the matter into their own hands and introduce uncertainty into my plans.'

Vesuvius had only one clue, and he refused to lose it.

At last, he sent a mental command through his link and moved on to the next matter on his list.

'Bring me the orcs. It is time to create the new heavy infantry.'

POV Grug-Ghar:

The metal ground below his feet felt cold even though the flames were so bright they put even the sun into shame and burned around. The islands just floated across the lands of chaos while the ice and fire clashed in the eternal war of elements.

A voice making his body feel burning just from listening to it came from the fiery depths below the island, "So you want strength? Are you willing to give me your life and everything else in return?"

"Show me your strength! Grug, will not bow to not a warrior." Grug had already witnessed the power of the black, metal warrior, but his veins burned with the desire to see the true power.

'The master of such a strong warrior must be even stronger!'

"So, be it."

The fire exploded behind the island's border, and a towering dark silhouette as tall as the tallest mountains he saw rose above it. The two lizard eyes drilled into his very own soul. His knees trembled, and his irises dilated with terror.

However, he gritted his tusks and sprained his bulging muscles. He stood unsteadily even though he trembled as he refused to show such a disgraceful weakness, 'To fall without a fight is a disgrace!'

"Graaah!" Grug raised his war axe, his eyes burning with zeal to fight.

His body flew backward, and winds whistled around him, the black ground below his feet turning into a blur.

'Guh?' Before he could even blink, his body stopped mid-air, suspended by an invisible force holding him, as if he was just a stick. His muscles bulged, but he couldn't move even an inch. Droplets of sweat flowed down his boulder-hard biceps, but it was all in no vain.

'This power?'

"Good, I like your spirit. So, you want to fight? In that case, you will have the honor of becoming part of the greatest war in the history of this world!"

A giant head emerged from the smoke and flames, the pair of eyes, one blue and the second golden, being so close he felt like staring straight into the sun, their glow burning his eyes.

The shape of the head, the horns, the eyes, and the aura all clicked in as he realized what he faced.

"Dragon, I will fight for you!" Every orc knew about dragons as they were the strongest warriors, always valiantly fighting and crushing their foes with sheer power. They had both the warrior honor and power to back it.

'Dragons are worthy lords.'

"Come, my surgeon, make this orc ascend." A single lizard man appeared from the omnipresent smoke, its sharp claws gleaming.

One hour later:

POV Vesuvius:

Vesuvius watched with a grin as the orc burned like a human, no, orcish torch. The flames exploded out of his body, incinerating the old one to allow the new one to be born.

However, there were no screams of pain, the bulging burning silhouette of the orc standing even while his body burned.

'Truly fitting their reputation.' Orcs were warriors that felt no fear of death, ready to fight to their last man. They didn't relent, fighting even with missing arms and legs until they bled out, the pain only making them stronger, wilder, and more aggressive.

The dragon's thoughts were interrupted as the flames finally subsided, revealing the monster hidden within them.

The kobold surgeon covered in the blood took a step back, its eyes also looking at the beast, admiring its work.

The beast stood there in silence, its golden eyes shining between its brutish thick, dark-green, almost black scales. Its pronounced stature with thick thighs, broad chest, and shoulders made the nearby kobold look squishy, like when comparing a regular office worker to a bodybuilder.

Its tall stature towered above the already tall kobold by at least four heads. The black metal spikes pointed from its spine and elbow, and the massive metal tusks grew from its mouth. The pair of dark metallic horns and crystal claws sparked with lightning arcing them.

"Graaah!" It opened its lizard-shaped mouth, and its growl made the kobold take a step back, "Grug was reborn! I can feel the power flow within my veins."

The beast immediately fell on its knees, its eyes burning with fire, facing the metal ground. Its long scaly tail swayed from left to right.

'Ohhh, high kobolds on their base level average only around level thirty. This means these koborcs are much stronger base.' Even though Vesuvius hated the name of the race, feeling like it was cheap and ridiculously sounding, his expectations were fulfilled.

'The only problem is that orcs are much slower to reproduce than goblins, so it will be much harder to raise their numbers.'

"Grug, you have pleased your master. Now, go into the wilderness, locate more orc tribes, and subdue them. However, before that show your warrior your newly gained power."

"It will be an honor to bring my lesser kin on the path of true strength."
