From the middle of the night until the sun showed its golden light at the end of the horizon, Hiro was grinding against night-type monsters while trying his new skill. His new skill made him really enjoy his level up.

So far, the awakening sword combo skill could only be used up to 15 combos because the level was still low. Even so, using the awakening skill made Hiro’s damage increase drastically even only at the first combo stack of x2 or x3.

However, the problem was that his energy was drained much faster when he used the awakening sword combo skill. Hiro thought it was time for him to level up his demon body so he could use skills that require energy costs more effective.

He defeated the last monster before it was burned and destroyed by the light of the sun. Hiro was standing in front of a desert. It was quite windy that his body was covered with dust and sand.

Hiro checked his progressive stats again to see how far he had progressed.

Hiro realized that his progressive stats were quite promising for now when he compared them to other players from all servers. However, it was still far from enough to catch up with his brother.

Realizing that, Hiro clenched his fists in annoyance. He felt his efforts were not maximal enough, and he had to improve to prove that Yuujin’s words were wrong.

Hiro arched an eyebrow in surprise. It was too early to accept a friend request. Also, he got a friend request from a legend. He didn’t expect the man to remember him after receiving absolute defeat at the Haunted Maze event..

He quickly accepted the friend request from the leader of the Immortal Knights. Hiro was curious as to what would happen next. Because it seemed there was something urgent.

And his guess was right.

The owner of the username immediately contacted Hiro via direct call.

“Good morning, Kid,” he said in his distinctive deep voice.

Elite players from the Immortal Knights guild found a hidden dungeon that required a raid party of 15 people to enter. Dominic and the main party of Immortal Knights had already inspected the dungeon along with their ten guild members. However, when they arrived at the boss’s door, there was a warning indicating that the total recommended BR was very lacking.

They could have forced their way in, but it would be too risky if a guild member was killed in the dungeon. They would also have to receive a 7 day penalty of not being able to log in.

However, before the hidden dungeon was conquered by their rival guild, Exalted, Dominic planned to create a non-guild raid party with player members of large BR. And that was the reason he contacted Hiro.

Hiro listened to Dominic’s coherent and clear explanation carefully. His eyebrows knitted together. Of course, he was interested in participating in the raid party. He was already curious about the main condition, which was 15 people in a party. It was an unusual condition. He was curious about what was hidden in the dungeon.

“If you already have your party, you can invite them,” Dominic added. He ended his sentence, hoping Hiro would join them.

“When are you planning to go?”

“Tonight. At 9 p.m. Let’s gather at my guild base.”

“I will bring 4 people. If you have a highly skilled cleric or ranger in your guild, invite him to join my party.”

The call ended and Hiro still had time to increase his strength and gather the people he believed could work with him.

However, before he could do that, Hiro had to complete his daily quest.

For weekly quests, the system should have unlocked the feature since the world level reached level 30. However, since they were busy with mysterious events recently, it seemed the feature was delayed for a few days. Hiro and other players even received compensation for the delay in this feature. It was a normal quality pet food.

Daily quests were monotonous. It was a repeated quest, but skipping one daily quest could make a person’s level fall behind. And a real gamer would never do that. Whatever happened, they would do the quest.

After Hiro finished the daily quest, he returned to the city of Underworld to meet with the NPC upgrade weapon.

Hiro needed to increase his mining level to the max to get the legendary weapon refine materials. Because the materials for refining his weapon were still not available in the marketplace. It was still impossible for him to increase the power of the weapon through refinement of the vampire blood-eater weapon.

But, Batarang, his second favorite weapon, he could increase his refinement level. He didn’t buy [Green Mithril] through the marketplace system because the prices listed there were set through the bidding system.

Last night, before grinding in the desert, Hiro walked past the market arena in Vul Faldur. He met a player who was focused on improving his mining life skill, so he sold those rare mining materials in the market. Luckily, that dwarf player remembered Hiro as a hero for The Haunted Maze event, so he was willing to sell Hiro a [Green Mithril] with a discount. Just for one time.

Hiro didn’t know whether to feel lucky or guilty because he couldn’t make the survivor team become the winner of the event.

Finally, he spoke to the NPC Gararic to help him in the refining process.
