Monte took a quick bath. After thoroughly removing that woman’s scent, he rushed to the

hospital for a check-up.

On the way, he received a call from Mr. Patterson. “ Monte, you unfilial son! I told you to treat

Lillian nicely, but look at what you did. You created such a scandal, and now everyone knows

about it. I’m utterly embarrassed because of you. Your Uncle Tanner even called to say they

want to cut off contact with our family.

“Also, I heard from the Tanner family that you’ve been infected with HIV?

“I should’ve strangled you to death when you were born back then.”

Cold sweat broke out on Monte’s forehead. “Dad, I was scammed. Someone wants to ruin our

partnership with the Tanner family.”

Mr. Patterson hung up after speaking.
