heard Otto mention Astrid auditioning for the lead role.

thought the role of the lead actress was decided for me?”

“Fannie,” Otto laughed, “I remember saying you seemed suitable for this role, but nothing was set in

stone. We didn’t sign any contracts or make any announcements. Plus, I’m just inviting Ms. Irvine for

an audition. Nothing’s decided yet.”

“I’m free; I’d make time even if I’m not. I’m really grateful for this opportunity, Director. I won’t let you
