Chapter 214 Forbidden to Get Injured

Asa’s appearance made Erin feel extremely awkward. Regaining her senses, she pushed Paulo away.

Erin walked past Paulo to go to Asa, crouching to ask, “Asa, are you thirsty? I’ll pour you a glass of water.”

Asa’s gaze looked like a grown–up at that moment, and he asked calmly, “Miss Pamela, is this man your boyfriend?”

As soon as he asked that, Paulo immediately came to him, bending over to say with a little smugness, “How smart

of you. She’s my girlfriend. Do you have an opinion about that?”

Erin got angry. “What nonsense are you talking about? How can you say that to my son–I mean, my student?” She

was so anxious she almost let it slip. “Asa, don’t believe this man. He’s just joking with you.”

Asa looked at Paulo calmly, saying with a faint disdain, “Sir, do you feel a great sense of accomplishment from

joking with me?”

Paulo straightened his back with a mocking gaze and said “Wow, kid, do you know what a sense of accomplishment

means?”

“Of course, I do, but I’m not going to tell you. If you don’t understand, go check the dictionary.” He then turned to

look at Erin, saying with great politeness, “Actually, Miss Pamela, I’m not thirsty, but my daddy is.”

Upon saying that, a pleasant and deep voice could be heard coming from behind him. “Asa, it’s time to go home.

Miss Pamela is entertaining her guest, so don’t disturb her. Your piano teacher will be coming in another half an

hour.”

Erin was extremely shocked when she heard that her son was taking piano lessons. “Asa, you’re also learning to

play the piano?”

How come she did not know about this?

Wearing casual clothes and standing with proper posture, Chandler’s tall figure made the air in the kitchen feel

tense. Calm and collected. he replied, “Mm–hmm. It was just arranged two days ago. Asa likes it, so I let him take

lessons for it.”

would not love their child.”

After hearing two adults putting in a good word for his mother, Asa nodded and felt touched. At that moment, after

go.”

Erin and Paulo saw the father and son out the door, and Chandler and Asa left, holding hands.
