Chapter 315 Bree sighed and remarked, "Brandon is really lucky to have you in his life." I curved my lips into a faint smile but didn't say anything. In truth, I'm the lucky one. When Chris betrayed me, I met Brandon, who healed and redeemed me. "When will you be back?" Bree asked.

Bree sighed again. "Maddie, when you get back, ctalk to me. I'm really struggling with all this." Thinking about how she fell out with Chris because she stood up forand drove Jewel away, I agreed. After the call ended, I breathed a sigh of relief. Ever since things went sour with Chris, I've found it increasingly stifling to talk with Bree and Zack.

I put my phone away and looked over at Brandon and Ellie. I wasn't sure what they were talking about, but Ellie was laughing the whole time, occasionally tugging at Brandon's shirt like a little girl.

Not wanting to interrupt, I opened Whatto send Lisa a message, but I noticed several unread messages from Jewel.
