Chapter 70 I wasn't surprised that he had added me.

We were now co-workers and would have to communicate often over plenty of things, so adding each other on Whatwould be very convenient.

However, I didn't add his contact immediately. Instead, I replied to Lisa's message, but she didn't reply to me. She was probably busy again.

I tapped on Conrad's notification and thought about it for a moment before replying, "I've been busy with the amusement park lately. I'll go show you around once I'm done." Before I could reply, he sent another text. "I'll be waiting for you." I was about to reply "Okay", but it didn't seem appropriate with his latest message. So, I instead replied with, "Are you going to be staying for a while?" Conrad replied, "Yes. I won't be leaving for quite a bit." I was quite surprised by his answer. A few seconds later, I asked, "Bree and Zack must be glad." It showed that Conrad was still typing, but his reply never ceven after I waited for a few minutes.

Instead of blindly waiting, I went to my email so that I could sort through them and reply to the new ones.

It had beca habit to check, but I seemed to have already settled everything Ineeded to. There were no new emails in my inbox.
