Chapter 1371
Vicky stored the medicine away safely. "Thanks.
Harvey leaned against the sofa nonchalantly. "Glad to be of help."
After chatting for a while, Vicky's phone rang. Her eyes lit up with glee when she saw who was calling. A few
seconds later, she answered the call.
"What are you doing right now?" came the voice from the other end of the call.
Vicky's expression softened in delight. "I'm working," she said softly. "Are you done with your meeting?"
"Yup. Where do you want to go for lunch later?" Tyler replied.
"I don't know. Do you have anything you're craving for?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"A new restaurant just opened near your studio. Let's go give it a try."
Checking the time, Vicky noted that it was an hour away from lunch break. "Are you going to pick me up later?"
Tyler was silent for a few seconds before answering, "I'm already outside your studio."
Vicky was shocked. "What? You're already outside?"
"Yup."
Vicky silently glanced at Harvey before looking at her phone again.
Noting her silence, Tyler asked gruffly, "Aren't you going to open the door for me?"
"O...kay."
Vicky looked at Harvey, who was playing with his phone, after hanging up. "Harvey, Tyler's here."
Harvey raised an eyebrow. "Don't tell me you want me to hide?"
"No, you don't have to do that," replied Vicky. She did have the brief impulse to ask him to hide when Tyler called,
but then again, there was nothing going on between her and Harvey. It would look more suspicious if she asked him
to hide.
On the other hand, she was worried Tyler would think otherwise since he always had a prejudice against Harvey.
Vicky got up. "Stay here while I open the door for him."
Harvey raised his brow and said nothing.
A few minutes later, Vicky walked back into her studio with Tyler. The latter paused for a second when he saw
someone sitting on the sofa.
"You have a guest?"
"Yes. Harvey was passing by and thought he'd visit," Vicky explained softly.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmTyler looked at Harvey and narrowed his eyes. "What a rare visitor," he muttered emotionlessly. "I would've brought
a
gift if I knew you were coming, Mister Sparks."
Harvey got up with a smile. "There's no need to be so formal. Mister Hart. Vicky and I go way back, so we can do
away with the gifts."
"You must talk to Vicky quite frequently since you know where her new studio is," said Tyler indifferently. "I'll leave
your gift here. You can pick it up next time you drop by."
Smiling faintly, he then turned to Vicky. "What do you think, Vicky?"
Vicky’s forehead started to sweat. Harvey came to deliver the medicine, but she could not tell him that. However, if
she did not, it would seem like she and Harvey had too much time on their hands that they were secretly meeting
behind Tyler's back.
"The only reason I knew Vicky moved to a new studio was because Cece posted it on her account. Tyler, if you're
jealous, just say so. There's really no need for you to be so passive-aggressive. You're making it sound like Vicky and
I are having an affair," said Harvey.
