After the Boss's health reached lower than 20%, he entered the berserk state, pushing his stats higher than Alex, but the problem was not his strength but his ability to recover 1% health every six seconds.

The health recovery came from the forest fairy blessing skill as the tattoos covering his body illuminated with high intensity using the mana from the environment to heal the Boss.

The constant health recovery created a challenging situation because, with the boss's increased agility and strength, the damage Alex could deal in six seconds was less than the 1% health recovery.

Alex was forced to use the Ruler Pride skill after failing to kill the boss or stop his constant health recovery, even after using his best damage dealer skill.

After using the Ruler pride skill, it took Alex mere few seconds to kill the raging centaur, who had lost his rationality and was just swinging his hammer around with nothing but brute strength.

'This bastard was definitely not a normally spawned Boss monster.' Alex thought as he stood up, mostly recovered from his injuries, and walked toward the bloodied mess of the Boss.

Alex touched the mangled body of the centaur, and a transparent system window appeared before him, showing him the loot from the Boss.

'A unique grade item.' Alex thought, surprised to see a dark badge in the first slot of the loot inventory illuminated by red light indicating its rarity.

Alex transferred all the loot, which consisted of a hammer of epic quality, a full body armor set, and a few other things, directly to his inventory while taking out the dark badge to examine it.

'What!!!' Alex stood stunned, looking at the badge at what the badge could do.

'A badge that could summon a special world boss.' Alex mumbled once again, reading the effect of the badge.

Alex was so surprised because a world boss was so rare that it was very difficult to locate one, even by the big guilds that had vast information networks and hundreds of thousands of members.

A special world boss rarity was on a completely different level, and finding one was the same as finding an instance dungeon, meaning without incredible luck, there was an extremely slim possibility of locating one.

The rewards a world boss provided were extremely lucrative, but the ones given by special world bosses were tens of times better and more desirable.

'Should I summon this special world boss and battle against it or save it until after the third Rank promotion.'

'The reward will depend on the performance of the raiding party, and after the third Rank promotion handling, even a special world Boss at the early stage of the fourth Rank wouldn't be a challenge.' Alex thought, taking time to think over his decision.

'The special grade world Boss will be much stronger than a normal Boss monster, but it is at the early stage, and if I make proper preparation, then winning would be possible, but it will be risky.' Alex thought, calculating the possibility of his victory.

'I will save the world boss as the last creature needed for my test of might quest.' Alex thought, deciding not to delay the battle.

Alex collected the loot and quickly sprinted toward the next settlement on his list while chugging down potions to recover to his peak condition.

Alex sat on the edge of a half-destroyed log cabin roof, looking at the sight of destroyed log cabins and chopped-up bodies of bloodied centaurs with a massive tree with a heavy crown in the distance at the edge of the hill.

While a single centaur of the third Rank, who was at the edge of death, lay on the ground with a bloodied, slashed-up body bound by multiple dark chains keeping him in place.

'This is quite a broken way to keep the effects of my Battle Emperor title active.' Alex thought, using a chain to slam the body of the chained centaur while keeping an eye on his health bar.

The Battle Emperor title gave Alex a 1% all-stat boost for every minute he was in battle, with strength limiting at 30%, but the duration the title could stay active was none.

Alex was using the title effects to his advantage by keeping a centaur barely alive to maintain the 30% stat boost as he rested to recover for his battle against the world boss.

'I should be able to complete the remaining condition in less than an hour, and by killing the world boss, the test of might would also be completed.' Alex thought, looking at the quest progress.

Alex had finished his fourteenth settlement raid and nineteenth battle in the last twenty-seven hours and was taking his time to recover both mentally and physically.

Alex expected things to go wrong as they did during his second Rank promotion, and because of that, he took extra measures and scouted more than a dozen extra settlements, with six of them having a fourth Rank boss monster.

Luckily everything went smoothly, and Alex successfully raided nineteen of his selected place in a much shorter time than he had expected.

After feeling that he was in his peak condition, Alex stood up and vanished from his place, appearing before the giant tree standing proudly in the distance.

The tree stood tall at the edge of a steep cliff reaching a few hundred meters high, brimming with life, and its girth was easily above forty meters, making it a colossal one of its size in the surrounding.

Alex took out the summoning badge and injected it with a bit of mana, making its dark surface get completely covered in a golden magic circle with intricate detail.

Alex touched the tree with the illuminated badge, and like a parasite, the badge instantly got attacked and slowly entered the hard bark of the tree, vanishing inside the tree.

Alex used the phantom step to appear back on the roof of the log cabin, waiting to see the result while also being ready to start executing his plan at a moment's notice.
