MMORPG : Rebirth Of The Strongest Vampire God-Novel
Chapter 599 Rudra’s POV
( Rudra's POV )
Recently Rudra was feeling like he needed to re-evaluate his understanding of the universe and the dominant powers of the universe. This Angakok guy was no joke, for him to take over a tier5 body and use attacks far beyond what the body was capable of was a testament to his fundamental understanding of the moves and precise control over mana.
Every body had a different mana circuit unique to their own constitution. The mana circuit of a race was somewhat similar, however, the mana circuit of different races was even more difficult to grasp.
If Rudra was to wake up in a different body, he would need time to use moves that he was already aware about how to use and would need to get used to the body's circuit type and circulation speed.
It would get progressively more difficult for him to use some of his best and most complex attacks but Angakok could do it like it was nothing when using Max's body.
What bugged Rudra however was the kind of moves that Angakok was using.
His entire fighting style was crude and cruel and every move he used was designed not to damage the enemy but rather torture them and break their morale.
It wasn't that the moves he used were not effective, but Rudra felt like a man who used such moves could not have a character that could be blindly trusted.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtFor him to have Max as his chosen was definitely a matter of concern that Rudra needed to look into separately.
Although he did not know Angakok personally, he had seen enough of the universe to understand that such a man could not have pure intentions for his brother and for him to be his chosen must mean being a participant in many difficult projects.
As Rudra thought all this, the three minute wait time was over as Severus rushed with a unconscious Max over his shoulder and shouted " HEALER, WE NEED HEALER"
The Bloodfall clan barely had any healers, it was one of the departments that Max needed to work on and the ones that were there were not exactly extremely skilled either.
The best healer that the Bloodfall clan had was tier4 and the best he could do was close superficial cuts and mend broken bones on the lord's body.
Rudra looked around the room and noticed that everyone was panicking. Max was the backbone of the entire clan and seeing him laid out cold like this everyone was losing their shit.
The chief healer was trembling while treating Max, afraid of making even the slightest mistake while Anna and Severus were sulking in a corner sipping on potions staring blankly at Max instead of doing their jobs as commanders.
Rudra absolutely did not want to take command, but looking at the pathetic state of the Bloodfall commanders he could not help himself as he sighed and said " Alright listen to me now commanders "
Anna and DarkSorrow raised an eyebrow as they turned their attention to the old man standing in the corner of the room.
" The dam has been breached, the fourth legion is already in shambles and the nereids are approaching fast from the riverfront.
The first, second and third legion are on the ready but need someone to lead them.
The nereids will be here anytime, go do your job as their leaders " Rudra said not mincing his words at all as he reminded the group that there was still a fight to be fought.
DarkSorrow's eyes widened in disbelief as he jumped to his feet in an instant. He was so ashamed from having to retreat that he absolutely forgot that there was a fight still ongoing.
Anna too stood up although much more reluctantly before nodding at the old man and rushing out to do her duty.
Severus and Zippo remained in the room where a wounded Mira soon stumbled too.
" Treat the dragon first " Rudra said as he redirected the chief healers attention to Mira.
" NO! Absolutely not " Mira protested as she glared at Rudra but clearly Rudra was not impressed.
" With all due respect- your lord is a vampire, he doesn't need fucking healing magic, what he needs is blood" Rudra said as he sliced open his own palm and dripped his divine blood into Maxs mouth.
Had Rudra been the one to heal his brother, he could have done it in an instant, but since he was hiding his identity, offering his blood was the only thing he could do.
The moment a single drop of his ultrapure angel blood touched Max's tongue, an electric current zipped throughout his body as his brain underwent a forceful reboot.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmMax's eyes shot open as his fangs came out and he involuntarily bit straight into Rudra's palm which was the origin of the ultra sweet smell.
His primordial vampire body recovered at a rapid pace. All the fatigue all the injuries faded away as Rudra's blood infused him with a boost of pure energy.
Within 30 seconds, Max was back to full consciousness as he looked around and realised that he was biting intensely on the palm of a frail old man after which he immediately stopped and looked at him with guilty eyes.
" I'm so- " Max wanted to apologise but Rudra put his hand over his face as if to say no apologies were needed.
" Healer- please stop the old man's bleeding " Max ordered as a secondary healer cured Rudra's wound.
" What's the situation on the battlefield? How long was I out for? " Max asked as he panicked as to how long he was out.
He was still in an intense war situation, and needed to focus on the fight. There was no time for rest!
Thankfully the old man had rallied the commanders in his absence and he was not out for too long.
No crucial war time was lost waiting for him to make a decision.
Max glanced towards the old man with eyes of gratitude, not only had he shared his precious blood but also helped keep everything smooth in his absence.
Although not a fighter, the old man was undoubtedly the MVP of this portion of the fight.
